You'll have a wonderful time at the beach staying in this beautiful two bedroom unit. NEW FLOORING AND LIVING ROOM FURNITURE. This condo has a queen bed, one double and one twin. This unit has many repeat customers; the price is right, the view fantastic, and the unit cozy. The bathrooms are fresh and modern, with walk in showers in both. Reservations include linens and towels with freshly made beds. Unit rents Saturday to Saturday. Located in Building B. NO PETS ALLOWED.

Summer Winds provides an amazing number of recreational amenities that make it "the vacation spot" of choice for renters year after year. Available for your leisure are three large outdoor pools with tanning decks; a heated indoor pool; both indoor and outdoor hot tubs; men and women's saunas; as well as a professionally equipped exercise facility. Our sports complex center also features racquetball, basketball, and lighted tennis courts to cater to the active competitors in your family. There is also an arcade with a snack bar. NO BOAT PARKING.


Additionally, Summer Winds offers an ideal setting for groups and meetings with its conference facilities, lounge, and security staff. Nearby you'll enjoy local dining, golf courses, and shopping.

Views from this unit are amazing! Could have sat on the balcony every day. Unit was nice but very dated. Unit was clean and had good selection of cookware. Summer Winds as a whole needs some updating. Buildings look very shaky with metal support poles on the outer balconies. Thankfully that wasn’t on our unit!

Beautiful condo!
Very clean upon arrival with an incredible view of the ocean and the pool. Lots of room for my three adult children, one with a friend, and myself to sleep and just hang out. Only a short walk to the trash compactor and other amenities on the property. The Summer Winds staff was friendly and did a great job! We’ll definitely be back!!

It has a great location, easy use elevator , close to beach and pool.. and what a amazing view!!
We had a great weekend there! A/c kept us cool and very roomy kitchen and sitting area.. favorite was the morning coffee and the ocean view porch

Good vacation
We loved this property overall, the grounds and pools were pristine, but the unit we stayed in needs some attention! The water leaked badly around one of the shower heads, the carpets are worn and need replaced, and 2 kitchen drawers were broken. The TV's in the bedrooms did not have cable access, and the AC was not strong enough to lower the temp in the unit below 72°. In the bedroom on the west side that was in contact with the afternoon sun, the temperature was sweltering, and we had to go purchase fans to be able to sleep. In all, it's a lovely place, beautiful view, and very efficient for what we needed. However, I would hope the owners or property managers will want to give a better experience to their visitors by investing a little money in updates and repairs.

Nice private resort
Summer Winds is a well kept private resort on the beach with plenty of amenities. The location was perfect for having coffee in the morning and watching the water. The kitchen needs updates desperately due to several drawers falling apart but it was well stocked with everything you need to cook. I do feel bad for the owners who trust a cleaning company to clean for them between guests because the place was disgustingly dirty when we arrived. I had to clean the kitchen and the table due to both being sticky and full of debris. We found empty water bottles, left by another group, under the beds and behind living room furniture. These were minor issues to deal with so we would highly recommend friends to stay in this resort, and we look forward to returning in the future!

We stayed 6/19-6/26. Finding the realty office to pick up the keys was a little tricky as Google Maps takes you a little off course. The condo was a bit dirty when we arrived. Dust was on table tops, the exhaust fan in the master bath was CAKED with dust and there was dust hanging from the master ceiling. After finding layers of dust by the master boxsprings on the bed frame, I gave up. I did, however, change the furnace filter and clean the vent as best I could. The resort was really nice. The pool was clean, the fitness room was well taken care of, and the beach was great! Shelling is not great in this area, but we took a ferry to Bird Shoals and found a ton of Sand Dollars!

Easy beach access and secure parking
Well maintained condo facility similar to all others in these towns of the Crystal Coast. You will enjoy the access to the beach and the pool areas. Shopping is close enough and plenty of activities of you want.

Beautiful view
The view is lovely and the location is great. As others have mentioned the condo could use an upgrade but that was not a surprise as the pictures give clear expectations. I do think the bedding could use an update as the comforters are very thin and the mattresses aren't great. Overall it was a nice stay.

Exactly what we hoped for
This place was perfect for a getaway for our family of 5! The condo is situated SUPER close to the beach access and the pool, with a great view of both. Which is exactly what I wanted. The place was not crowded at all so we could practice social distancing easily. We were so close we didn’t have to pack everything up for the day to hang at the beach- we could easily go back to the condo for lunch and then return as desired. However, taking a foldable wagon to lug chairs, toys for the kids, and a small cooler was a great idea. The decor is a bit outdated but that is something I would totally expect for someone’s second home being rented. You’d never want to put nice stuff in there that other people could ruin. Everything was comfortable and it had everything that we needed- but we made sure to read the information carefully of what you should bring so we knew to bring things like hand soap, etc. Check-in and check-out were super easy. There are a couple things close by (Dollar general, a couple restaurants, etc,) but most restaurants, shopping, and grocery shopping was at least 10-15 minute drive away. It didn’t bother us because we didn’t go out too much but it’s something to keep in mind. The condo grounds and facilities were all very clean and well maintained. The only issue was the water/shower/rinse station on the stairs to the beach and inside the pool fence stopped working or was shut off after the first two days so we had to walk over to the pool area to use the hose they provided every time we needed to rinse the sand off. Mildly inconvenient because there was often a line up of people all trying to use the same hose. The weather was perfect the whole time! Overall this vacation was exactly what I was hoping for and we had a great time! I would definitely recommend!

The entire condo is just outdated... between the patio furniture, the living room furniture, the kitchen supplies, everything. The saving grace was the view and location to the beach. While the actual condo was well maintained, the property itself was not. There was bird feces all over the stair handrails, and parts of the steps were falling apart. Considering the amount of the HOA for these condos, I would have thought their would be more care taken to the actual property.
