"Myself, my husband, my brother and his wife, stayed at the cabin from Friday night until Monday morning. All of us greatly enjoyed our stay. The spacious cabin is beautifully decorated, well furnished, and clean. The beds and the rest of the furniture are quite comfortable. The cabin is very quiet and peaceful. The enclosed porch off of the main bedroom is lovely and I regret I didn't have time to enjoy it more. The cabin is very close to Shawnee State Park, and is also close to the lovely...

"The cabin is absolutely stunning and the woods were so peaceful. We loved being in the middle of nowhere and enjoying the time by ourselves. The overlook area of the mountains and valley was beautiful and just made everything more amazing. My boyfriend loved it so much that he asked me to marry him there. "Everything was great and as expected except for a couple things. The kitchen area, bathroom, and stairway were not the cleanest. Also was looking forward to using the jacuzzi but it wasn’t filled with water unfortunately. Overall we did enjoy our stay though and would choose this over a hotel again. "

"We have been staying twice a year for several years now, and plan to continue. Bill & Julie are wonderful hosts, always very responsive to feedback and other communication, especially in the service of doing everything possible to make a great stay even better. We are a group of six, one adult couple, and another couple with 2 teens and a dog. We very much enjoy the accomodations themselves, as well as the gorgeous location, very convenient to where we need to be for our seasonal obligations....

"We stayed here while waiting to move into a new house. The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family of 6. The house was set back a bit from amenities,however this made it very peaceful. The host was very accommodating allowing other family to visit us. The host was also quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had during our stay. This house will be a place we will continue to stay when visiting family."

"Our stay was very nice. There were a few things I was surprised about, like only 2 of the 6 beds were made. It was an extra burden having to make 4 beds in a row before putting the kids to bed. We were asked not to go hiking in the woods, in an email, which was one of the main reasons for our stay, to play in the woods. The number we were given for emergencies was disconnected. The house itself was nice. Everything else regards to the rental was extra work."
