"My husband is disabled so found the superior room was awkward in the bathroom. particularly. However we hadn't told the hotel about this so can't complain. We managed & really enjoyed our stay. We were a little disappointed in the size of the room & had thought upgrading to a superior room would have given us more space. If we go again I won't bother to upgrade as not worth the extra expense altho' the views were lovely.."

"Stay was ok but just ok not great There is a heating controller on the wall by the door that doesn't work I eventually found a control on the radiator to turn up the heating The window was locked in an open position and therefore unable to lock out the noise from the road"

"Good reception, we were expected and shown to our room. Quiet location, very isolated but a very popular venue, well attended. Restaurant food is excellent and the English breakfast was superb. Our room was directly over the bar and it’s quite noisy which didn’t bother us particularly as it quietens down after closing. The walls are quite thin so you can hear guests in other rooms. The toilet seat was broken, which we reported and the shower took a long time to empty. We reported both...
