"Celebrated Thanksgiving and a patriarchal birthday in this remote home. It was perfect for our 6 adults and 1 dog. So close to the lake, beautiful scenery, starry nights, and above all peace and quiet. The house is fully stocked and has no ridiculous rules. Would definitely recommend!"

"Everything was as advertised. Was clean and tidy and had all the basics needed. Comfy and warm inside even when temps dropped below freezing. Check-in was easy, owner was responsive and kind. Loved that we were surrounded on three sides by cow pastures and house was set back a ways from low-traffic road. Was very peaceful. But also only 10-15 mins from town. Would stay here again. "

"Overall, we enjoyed the stay but we had some problems. Highlight of the stay was definitely the view of the river from the porch! Really quiet and peaceful. The home is spacious and in a nice small town. The reason we chose this property was for the hot tub. The hot tub did not function and the owner said he had some issues with it from prior guest. Things happen and a simple offer of a partial refund or even a discounted next stay would have gone a long way. The beds were not comfortable....

"Property was very close to the river, enjoyed the decks. Beds were a little firm not many pots and pans to cook with went and bought a few more ice in door did not keep up for our 13 people. Over all we enjoyed our stay"

"The room is very clean and comfortable. I love how the bedding is so soft. As if surrounded by a down comforter. We had a room on the 2nd floor. This was a bit of a challenge since there isn't an elevator. But I'll just make sure to get a ground floor room next time. If I had to select a downside, it would be the 32" TV. It's adequate, but we're all just used to bigger TV's. I would definitely stay here again. "
