"Had a great stay! Bed very comfortable. Everything there that we needed! Close to shops and restaurants. Lovely spot! Room ticked all the boxes except there was something going on with wet area on carpet in front to bathroom door. Initially thought it was from bathroom but after 2 days realised there must be a pipe broken under the floor! Apart from that everything was prefect "

"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"Incredibly relaxing stay! Bed was very comfortable (great for my bad back) fireplace in the Lounge Room with lovely outdoor bath was fantastic. I simply loved having a sauna inside the bathroom. When we arrived, we saw our little welcome pack with breakfast provisions for the first day and feed so we could feed the cows, goats and alpacas on the property. "

"Host left wonderful provisions for our stay including nice bread, fresh milk and a bottle of wine among other things. Bed and bedding was excellent. Great location and being able to pet the cows in the adjoining paddock was nice! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. "

"Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway."

"Gums and Roses was such a gem to find in the Adelaide Hills! We loved the tiny house; small but has everything you could need, and in the perfect location. Perfect for watching the horses and kangaroos and close to the pubs if you're after a meal at night. Our host was so nice and let us come and meet her horses which was great. "There are holiday letting operators; then there are holiday hosts. Albert is a one of the latter. He made sure we had everything we needed and provided a superb daily breakfast or brunch with a fruit platter, home-made bread, and even eggs from his chooks. This is glamping - it's not for fusspots - it's a farmlet with insects, frog & bird noises, and the kitchen/living room/toilet are about 40m from the tent.
