"The first night of our stay, I unrolled a towel on the bed in the cottage and 2 roaches fell out. Then I pulled down the comforter and more roaches were crawling around. I messaged the host on VRBO and heard nothing. I then messaged via text. The only response was that the host had not gotten the message on VRBO. No action or apology."

"Quiet situation. The house is on quite a narrow impasse and the gate is not enormous. Anyone with a car larger than ours (Skoda Yeti 1m 75 cm wide) could find it a bit tight getting in and out. There are some parking spaces round the corner. All contact was with the concierge, timely and professional.
