Admire the little churches, stroll through the authentic market or hire a canoe to spend a day or two descending the Ardèche at the foot of the breathtaking cliffs. The Arc-de-Triomphe and the Antique Theatre of Orange are 30 minutes away by car and a visit to the fortress of Mornas, the riverbanks of Alès, the forests of the Cévennes, the waterfalls of Sautadet, the caves of Vallon Pont d'Arc, the Jardins de la Fontaine in Nîmes, the Arènes in Arles and the famous Pont du Gard is also worthwhile.
