"The home was perfect for our mini UP getaway. The addition / main bedroom was where my husband and I spent most of our time hanging out. It also smelled fresh and nice like new wood. The rest of the house was quite musty smelling, which is to be expected with an older seasonal cabin, but it should be noted because some folks with allergies may experience a reaction (our kiddo did). "This rental was such a beautiful, cozy cottage on such a pretty beach! It was the perfect size for just the two of us and we loved the little wood burning furnace. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home across the street from the bay on Lake Superior. The location is absolutely perfect with views of the water from big windows. It's within walking distance of downtown and the beaches. The house is very spacious and comfortable- great kitchen, seating, balcony, and deck. "This was the perfect rental for 2 couples on a side-by-side trip. The house is bigger than it seems in the pictures and the house has a great layout. The laundry room was so convenient, because when we would get back from riding we could throw our dusty clothes in the washer before entering the main part of the house. It kept everything and everyone cleaner. The house is extremely close to downtown and near by trails, great location. I would definitely stay there again, I was very impressed."
