"The pictures don't even do it justice! Our new favorite place to stay in the Adirondacks. Can't wait to go back!"

"We use this cabin as a base for exploring south Adirondack hiking trails. We really enjoy the location, the cabin itself, the quiet place and the scenery at diner time after long hike. One of our favorite was very near by : Peaked mountain trail."

"Three families stayed at the property (6 adults, 4 children). Plenty of room for all of us. It’s a cool house with good separation. The pool table and the big kitchen table got a lot of use! The kids loved fishing in the little pond behind the house. We didn’t get to use the treehouse much, but the kids thought it was really cool. The house is certainly remote in a quiet town. Lake George is about ~45 min away, not a bad drive. Restaurant options are limited within ~15 minutes, but there are...

"Couldn’t get into one of the rooms shown but I think the door was swollen, decent sized place right off of downtown, easy parking and access. Will be staying again come spring. Only real issue was I couldn’t get the thermostat to work, it only went to AC not heat (I don’t believe there was AC in the home? I didn’t see a condenser outside) but there was electric heat in every room so we used that during our stay since it was only 2 nights. My son loved the bunk beds and we were able to squeeze...

"Coffee pot was not cleaned, 2 nd floor full bed has an old mattress and they said that they rolled into the middle. It’s an overall nice woodsy cabin. We would stay there again knowing what we’re in store for. A very fair price, with an excellent location to lake George and Gore mountain. Dogs welcome is a plus also "

"We had a great time. All the local attractions were excellent, and the management couldn't have been nicer. It was fun to watch the dogs, and we loved having them visit us. The other renters were great, too. I'm already looking forward to going back!"

"This cabin exceeded our expectations! It was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, well-stocked, and very spacious. This was the perfect vacation spot for our family!"

"If you are looking for a place to stay to ski at Gore Mountain, this is the place. The drive to the mountain was super easy and is only 18 minutes away. The house itself is a bit dated but charming. The house has everything you need in it. towels, toilet paper, blankets, etc. The doors are solid wood with latches instead of door knobs. The fireplace was great to sit in front of after a hard day at the mountain and the hot tub was amazing for the sore muscles. The only complaint I had was the...

"This was our second time staying at the Lahinch lodge. It is such an amazing home and location. The small beach is perfect for cooling off and the kids had a blast paddling around. The island makes a perfect boundary for the kids to explore the water without the worry of them going out too far or fast boats coming too close. The pool table and ping pong in the basement are always a hit with kids and adults. We hope to stay here again in the future!"

"The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We had no issues upon arrival. The internet and utilities worked as expected. Everything was surrounded by trees and was very beautiful. "This cabin, checked every box that was needed for a perfect peaceful, relaxing, unwinding, recharging weekend get away for my wife and I. A must hike owls head mountain. Absolutely amazing. "This VRBO house was one of the cleanest I have stayed in. Check in was easy and owner was easy to communicate with. Only suggestion I would make and it is just based on a personal preference, would be to have a queen bed in the master or one other room. "My husband and I met our adult children and their partners for a lovely weekend in the Adirondacks for a wedding at Oak Mountain. The wedding took up much of the weekend, but we enjoyed all our time at White Pines. It was closely located to Oak Mountain and the brewery where people gathered the night before to visit. The home itself was very comfortable and had everything we could ever need. We enjoyed sitting around the outdoor fire and the gas fireplace inside to visit. We loved the view and...

"The cabin was cozy, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nice lake for kayaking. Moderate level hiking trails with gorgeous views nearby. Convenient to stores and restaurants. Very good attentive host."
