"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "Flawless. We loved our stay at The Ship Inn and I strongly recommend it for any stay in Rye. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of town. The pub is beautiful and historic and the room itself modern and faultlessly clean. Some little details I really appreciated: tea and coffee and kettle in the room (with oat milk sachets!), a deep bath, tv, desk fan and a very comfy, spacious bed. 10/10"
