"We had a wonderful time at the property. The hosts are nearby, but give you your space. The house overlooks the farm store and the farm. It was nice to sit on the large porch and look out in the fields and see the goats in the distance and the piggies and the beautiful horse, Spirit. "The lodge at Piney Knob provided a wonderful setting for our annual (multi-family) Labor Day trip! The accommodations were spacious and well-equipped for our group of eight. My dad, my son, and I even got to meet Mr. Bill, the owner, down at the pond on Saturday. We enjoyed talking with him and hearing about some of the history of his place. We recommend you considering Piney Knob Lodge for a peaceful and beautiful getaway! "

"The farmhouse was perfect for us. The entrance into the community and the drive to the house is lovely. It's secluded and picturesque. The goldfish pond is a few feet from the house and has a bench to sit on. BBQ worked great and there’s a firepit too. There was a large bowl of candy for us in the kitchen and a package of Pepperidge Farm assorted cookies. The fireplaces inside the kitchen and living room are gas and turn on with a switch and let off very nice heat. Great ambience. The house...

"Our stay here was very nice. The property was very clean and the check in and out process was very easy, and everything was set up for us. The upstairs of the property did have an odor of cigarettes and downstairs smelled a bit like an animals; this didn’t ruin our stay but made it a little less enjoyable for those that had to sleep downstairs."
