"Spent several nights at home for our anniversary. House was nestled in woods, away from it all and remote, which was just what we needed. Well maintained, clean, and quiet. Hot tub was a great touch and added to the Overall experience. We traveled to town for foods as needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a couples vacation. "

"Loved the location and the back room with the gas fireplace was really great! Place was very quaint and peaceful. A couple of the room heater remotes did not work and we had to shut these off by unplugging and the hot tub could use a new cover. These are simple things and we would definitely go back again. "

"I loved this place. I’ve stayed at a lot of cabins throughout the Appalachians. This one is very rare in actually being located deep in the woods, providing a ton of privacy and beautiful nature. The cabin itself is on a private driveway and backed up against secluded woods. It’s also decorated very well. We loved the first and second floor balconies allowing you to sit outside and read and relax, not to mention the hammock. I would give the owner feedback more than 5 stars if I could. They left...

"Lovely cabin - I rented this for myself, a friend, and my dog for a 2-day hiking trip. I appreciate that each of bedroom had its own bathroom and that there was a little trail up the hill where I could walk my dog. We had a little snafu with internet availability in the unit, but it ended up not being an issue because hiking took up most of our day. Communication with the hosts was excellent. "This small secluded cabin was the perfect location for a family weekend with the pups. The property was scrupulously clean & beautifully decorated. We enjoyed walking the property, playing the games, and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. We experienced some unprecedented difficulties due to a major hurricane striking the area during our stay, and both the property manager and the owner were a class act. I could not recommend this property more. "

"The home has 4 (-5) bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, large kitchen, beautiful front decks with gorgeous mountain views. I t is a wonderful place to have family time! It is pet-friendly (a requirement for us.) We stayed 3 nights-not nearly long enough. We loved the home. It is about 15-25 minutes from towns (West Jefferson is very nice) but convenient to New River water activities, hiking, Grayson Highlands State Park (loved the wild ponies! and hiking waterfalls,) Mount Jefferson hikes, etc."

We came down to the area just after Hurricane Helene and had to navigate a few storm related issues but it was no big deal and Molly made it easy. The house is adorable and well appointed.
