"Perfect location directly at the Coast path with an amazing view. Approaching the house is quite challenging as the way down is very narrow and steep. However the owners inform you on this upfront and its obviously the price you have to pay for staying so close to the sea. We enjoyed our Holidays a lot! Thanks!"

"Our railway carriage was set in a secluded part of a two acre setting, bordered by a wood and well tended gardens. The carriage itself provided the double bedroom and compact but well appointed kitchen, with an extension providing a spacious lounge, storage and bathroom. It was perfect for the two of us with a short walk to a lovely pub/restaurant and as a base to explore the beautiful surroundings. The owners were helpful and friendly."

"A lovely traditional family home with views over the bay. Well equipped and lots of living space. The conservatory area is lovely especially on a sunny day. Parking is a challenge in Mousehole but we were always able to find somewhere for our car. Even if in the harbour car park it’s only £5 for 24 hours. Thank you to the host "

We had small problem with our room, but on bringing it to the attention of the hotel, this was dealt with promptly and efficiently in very courteous way. "We had a couple of nights here whilst bringing my son down to start uni at Falmouth. The hotel is set in its own grounds so feels like the countryside, but only a 25 minute walk into Falmouth centre which incidentally is a lovely place. The staff are very nice and friendly and happy to help, the room we had was good and clean, and the pool was a real treat, and as it’s open from 7am we were able to use it on our last day before having breakfast! Would describe The Falmouth as " faded elegance". We understand that the new owners will be investing considerable time and funds into updating the premises which, if done sympathetically in line with the hotels' Victorian heritage, will be wonderful. Please retain the historical Victorian splendour. Thak you."
