"The location of Islander on the Beach was perfect! 15 minutes north of the airport. Right in the middle of the island. Heading North to Hanalei was a 50min drive and heading south to Waimea was roughly 50minutes. The resort was clean and beautiful. The pool/jacuzzi area was just as nice and the pool bar was the cherry on top. Our room was a studio room over looking the ocean. Going to sleep with the waves was so relaxing. There is A/C for this unit but most nights we slept with it off and slider...

"The view of the ocean from the veranda and the sound of the waves against the shoreline were one of many magnificent highlights of our stay in Kauai at the Islander on the Beach. The east shore locale, was a perfect midway point to visiting both the north and south shore. Also, just steps to the Coconut Marketplace, it was convenient for shopping and food. Island Market was our favorite for food, drinks and gifts. We celebrated our 25th Anniversary, Aloha Style. "

"Kapaa is the best location in my opinion. You are conveniently located for events driving North to Princeville area and beaches. Then going West to Waimea canyon. Property and room are absolutely beautiful! Manager was very responsive and answered questions quickly. Would stay here again! ALOHA "
