"From the time we arrived to the time we left actually a day early the water had a very strong rotten egg smell many emails and phone calls to the management company and it was never resolved. We had to shower and wash dishes in rotten eggs.The home was nice, the mgt. company not recommended. I think owners should have access to guest/mgt company real time communications to head off such a bad guest experience."

"Room was as pictured and described. Ms. Dot greeted us warmly and it was obvious the owners went out of their way to provide anything we might need...from toiletries, to coffee, to paper goods, to lots of TV viewing options. We were told we were welcome to use the deck as well as the laundry room. We were very comfortable! The neighborhood is beautiful, as is the front yard. Bath is a lovely little town with lots of restaurants and shops. Reny's was awesome!"

"Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. "The title and description are spot on, this is a vintage home with every amenity we needed for a long weekend exploring Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. We only needed 3 bedrooms, so did not use the bunk beds tucked into the first floor alcove, and planned to spend most of our time out & about. It was a perfect location for us."

"Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all."

"We enjoyed the tranquility of the cottage and we appreciated the antiques connecting the cottage to the past/ history of the area. No issues with our stay. "What a great stay. Our first time in Maine, and New England and so glad we had this location. Booth bay is the “just right” costal town to stay in. 5 minutes from the harbor, so much to do locally, and the home was great. The property stole the show, though. The water, deck, dock, fire pit, grill, the trees! All so great. The house is large and well equipped, but could use some updating, better humidity control, and AC. Highly recommend."

"My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food....

"We spent three nights at Pauls Cottage. As a local host for vacation homes on Cape Cod. I pay attention to the details.The home had a three night minimum.The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate.
