Lakeside apartment with boat ramp & jetties

Bring the boat and enjoy trout fishing on Lake Rotorua. Located on the edge of Lake Rotorua enjoy the privacy of a 3 bedroom apartment attached to the main house. The private boat ramp makes it easy to launch your boat and then secure it to the jetty during your stay. Enjoy the views on the lakefront or take the kayaks & paddle boards out on the lake.

We are only a 5 minute drive from the city and close to all tourist attractions.

A Four square supermarket, Indian takeaway, liquor store, Fish n Chip & Chinese takeaway are only a 2 minute walk and the bus stop a minute past the shops.

The apartment is self-contained. Downstairs is the lounge, kitchenette, queen bedroom & bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Upstairs is a bedroom with a super king bed. Then through to a bedroom room with a king single pull out bed, couch and a 55”smart TV to give guests more space. For the fisherman, at the back is a fish filleting table and a portable smoker is available.

We are available if you need anything and enjoy meeting guests or check yourself in with the lockbox if prefer your privacy.

Perfect for what we needed
This place is special and would highly recommend if you are looking for the same things we were. Great base for family holiday with our teens, magic location with kayaking right on the lake, walk to the chippie, rotorua central attractions a couple of mins drive away. Kids had their own space and joint space great too. This is not super modern but is priced really reasonably and the host family are super lovely people and still left us with a nice separate space to do our thing.

Great place to stay for our family
Stayed 4 nights in school holidays. Comfortable place to stay for 2 adults with 2 young kids, close to town, great being next to the lake, appropriate amenities, and friendly owners onsite. Would gladly stay there again.

Nice but…..
Place was nice enough but some elements could use a deep clean. Although use of the kayaks was available - the way our two days played out we didn’t return to the rental with enough time in the evening to take advantage.

Everything you need
We had a great stay here, right on the lake and less then 5 mins from town. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, the house was more spacious than expected, the hosts were friendly and helpful and overall it was excellent value for money. We made use of the kayaks and paddle boards which was a bonus too. Highly recommend

Good value for money
This is a very comfortable apartment, and good value for money. The bedrooms are large and beds very comfortable. It rained every day, missed not having a clothes dryer but found a good laundromat near K Mart. Supermarkets a few minutes drive away. Although attached to the owners house, apartment is very private.

Great Easter break
Really nice relaxed place with all you could want. Lovely to sit out on the jetty and enjoy the view over the lake. The apartment is very comfortable and cosy. The hosts were lovely, really friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed being able to bring my sailing dinghy and sail directly from their ramp and son enjoyed borrowing a SUP. The neighbourhood is really quiet despite being really close to the centre of town 30min walk or 10min cycle. Definitely recommend.

AN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE
Jeanna is just fantastic. She provides an excellent accomodation opportunity with so many added bonuses that other property's cant compete with. The opportunity to use the variety of water sport flotation equipment is not to be missed (even though I did, hence why il be back), paddleboards, kayaks etc.... private pier, what's not to love. Ideally located less than 200m from a small supermarket, liqour store, brilliant fish and chip shop, and the lake! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and are already planning our trip back. 20/10 would reccomend to a friend

Quiet lake stay
The positives were that it is very quiet, the super king bed was very comfortable, the couch and large TV with Netflix are good also. However the windows and surrounds were mouldy and dirty, No privacy in the flat unless main curtains closed. One dirty sponge in kitchen. Lighting in whole flat so poor could not read at night, one light in lounge not working. Overpriced, about $100 per night would be maximum tarrif not $160.Nice owners but they need to put some work in to bring flat up to standard. However enjoyed Rotorua and bring home good memories on the whole.

Great little hide away
Location was great, and right on the lake. Great to be able to use the paddle boards and kayaks. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again. Perfect hosts.

The bach was ideal, right on the water with Everything you could ever need for entertainment inside and out on the water. Very friendly hosts, and quiet location. This is a great spot for families with children and a great price.

Spacious home away from home
This home is a great comfortable holiday home. It's very close to town with a lovely lake aspect. Awesome being able to use kayaks and paddle boards. The shower was great. We didnt have alot of time to watch tv but when we did it was great to have Netflix and the wifi was awesome. The area is quiet and great for watching water fowl on the lake. Jeanna and Jim are friendly and laid back and left us to our own devices which was nice.
