"Barb is a great host. She was eager to assist and always had the sauna ready to rock for us. This is a wonderful property but the hosts are the key to a terrific time.If your trip is for business the internet is slow for large uploads and downloads, but that is Germany in general, not the best internet in all the B&B’s in Germany to include hotels.But if you are looking for a tranquil retreat, a beautiful house, location and one of the best hosts I have ever had, this is the place for you."

"The studio is small but cosy. There is everything you need in the kitchen in terms of equipment but don't expect to find oil, salt and pepper. Upon check in they give you a pack with one roll of toilet paper only and that's it. After that it's on you. No kitchen towell nor cloth. The bed was ok but the hot water would last less than 5 minutes so half of the shower was cold. "

"Wir hatten das Haus in Rodershausen im November 2024 mit 34 Personen für ein Familientreffen gemietet. Wir fühlten uns ausgesprochen wohl, alles war perfekt vorbereitet (sogar Spülmaschinentabs, Kaffeefilter und das Haus war bereits vorgeheizt. Alles drei haben wir schon anders kennengelernt). Die Zimmer und die Betten waren sehr sauber, Bäder und Toiletten ausreichend vorhanden. Einziger ganz kleiner Nachteil war, dass es schwierig war, die ganze große Gruppe zum Essen in 1 Raum zu...

"Auch unser zweiter Aufenthalt in der schönen Ferienwohnung der Fam. Schmitz ließ keine Wünsche offen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere Motorradtouren nach Luxemburg, Belgien und in die Eifel. In der geräumigen Wohnung, die es am nichts fehlen lässt, muss man sich einfach wohl fühlen und die Gastfreundschaft von Birgit und Michael rundet das Ganze ab. Ich denke, wir kommen wieder.... :-) Grüße von Jörg, Ralf, Thomas und Michael"

"Wij zijn een midweekje verbleven. Ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk. Huisjes zijn zeer comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. De mensen bij de receptie zijn behulpzaam. Mooie rustige omgeving om te gaan wandelen of fietsen. Tip om ook bij het restaurant te gaan eten."

"Die Wohnung und die Ausstattung waren in Ordnung. Leider waren die Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten in sehr schlechtem Zustand. Die Rollläden klemmten teilweise heftig. Auch die darunterliegende Bundestrasse hört man leider sehr stark. Darauf wird in der Beschreibung leider nicht hingewiesen."

"Cosy room. Very spacious bathroom with an excellent shower. Friendly staff and nice selection of channels on TV. Elevator and easy parking across the road.The only problem was the mattress which was not straight/flat... so I woke up with back pain. Luckily it was just one night. The rest was excellent but the quality of the bed must be everything for a hotel......"
