"Our unit was recently renovated and absolutely spotless. It was warm and cosy. Electric blankets were a nice touch given Hall Gap can get quite chilly in the winter time. We went as a couple, but it would be a fabulous place for families to stay. Highly recommended."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Kookaburra Cottage immensely. The biggest drawcard was probably the location, short walk to the town centre yet quiet and we still got to enjoy the wildlife experience with Kookaburras, kangaroos, and an echidna around the corner! The indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit was enjoyed by the family. The heating in the cottage was very adequate which made for a cosy and comfortable stay. "Manuka was exactly as described & in easy walking distance to town/shop’s. Even most walking tracks for exploration. Only issue, booked it as had two TV’s , we planned to watch Brownlow Medal. No reception on either device, so missed it !! Apparently is an issue there, perhaps would have been nice to know before hand. "

"This property (with three rentals) is incredibly delightful. Each cottage is very separate with views looking in different directions which gave us a 100% feel of being the only ones there. The cottages have been beautifully built and furnished with everything you could need. We were there in the middle of winter. There was an open fire but you do need to run the reverse cycle all the time as well as the ceilings are high and a lof heat goes up there - but it's incredibly atmospheric. Electric...

"We loved the kangaroos who visited at dusk & dawn, as well as the resident kookaburra and tiny birds. The bush views from the back windows were soothing and private. The villa was spacious & well furnished, but being warmed by the open fire was just lovely. "

"This property was in an excellent location, was generally clean and very tidy, had all the necessities in the kitchen and laundry for cooking and tidying up. The neighbourhood was quiet, we enjoyed using the inside fire each evening, and contact with Kylie was fast and efficient. A wonderful stay!"

"With the perfect views surrounding us we were able to unplug from the internet and just slow dow down, enjoy and relax. A short drive to Halls Gap to explore and then coming back to a perfect quiet spot. The kids loved the space to run, play outdoor games and explore. One of our favourite part was the big firepit area where we got to enjoy some camp fire cooking which was something new for the kids to enjoy. "

"It is in the perfect position on regards to walkability within the township of halls gap. It was comfortable and roomy. The plants around the carparking spaces could do with a good prune. I understand that most places have wet rooms now for the bathrooms however I am nt convinced with these, the floor gets very wet and slippery and there is no way to dry it other than using towels etc provided for personal use."

"Excelente atendimento, quarto amplo e confortável e local tranquilo. O funcionário do hotel nos mostrou os Kookaburras (pássaro que dá nome ao hotel) que aparecem no final da tarde para receber comida. Há vários cangurus pela região. Da varanda do quarto dava para ver cangurus e cacatuas-da-crista-amarela bem de perto. Além disso é próximo do Grampians National Park que possui várias mirantes e trilhas interessantes."
