Large Villa private pool and garden near beach

Enjoy everything Roquetas de Mar has to offer! Spend your days discovering the surrounding area. The house is located 2nd line and only 100 metres or so Inland from Bajadilla beach and the Promenade. The adjacent section of the beach has a Lifeguard Station, toilets and shower facilities and sunbeds for hire during the Summer months. It's a fabulous less than 10 minutes walk along the beach to Santa Ana Castle and the Port/Marina areas, teeming with tapa bars and restaurants. During the high season the local Town Hall provides free cultural entertainment in the amphitheatre . Closer to home and just a couple of minutes walk away is a local bakery open all year round from 7am to late at night which covers not only fresh bread but all your other shopping essentials. In front of the beach is a small triangular park area ideal for exercising dogs. The park borders the promenade where there are municipal exercise equipment close to the fabulous Popeye's Restaurant with beach views to rival any Chiringuito.

Your home away from home gives you exclusive access to an entire house designed to allow you to live as a local.

You also have sole use of a beautifully planted fully enclosed private garden with unheated maintained swimming pool, sun beds and terraces and shaded patio lounge furniture and dining areas. The pool is 4m x 9m and is unheated. Currently the pool is maintained with water all year round but with winter cover in place but the water reaches 25-33 degrees Celsius April to October when cover is removed. The pool is deep at one end with a ladder and with easier entry tiled steps at the other end.From the steps it is stand up depth to one third length before it slopes to deeper water. The pool is not fenced off and so supervision of children and non swimmers is required at all times when near the pool. There is an outdoor shower, poolside sunbeds and large fixed to floor but swingable parasol . The house has an outdoor gas BBQ in the garden by a mature wonderful Orange Tree, as well as an indoor brick BBQ housed in the new dining room with powered ventilated indoor chimney to the roof. This uses Wood or coal and has a paellera pan. The dining room is airconditioned and seats 10 comfortably.

The house also has a large 100 m2 roof terrace accessed via 3rd floor tower stairway with outstanding wide sea views over the bay towards Almeria City and Cabo de Gata headland. Views directly over front line properties and on to water's edge beach bathers.

The stairwell houses a fully stocked dresser, fridge / freezer, coffee and tea making facilities and microwave and plancha so that breakfast and evening drinks and entertaining can take place without need to come and go via downstairs kitchen. On the roof terrace itself there is power and running water and sink with washing up facilities and marble counter to prepare food and cook on. One section of the roof terrace has comfortable outdoor sofa and armchair sets with parasol umbrella to provide shade and surrounded by wonderful potted plants and shrubs.

As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.

The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, a hob, an oven, grill and microwave and dishwasher. Tea and coffee making facilities, kettle, blender and all the cutlery, crockery pots and pans that you are ever likely to need. Inside the dining room is a further sink, dishwasher, washing machine, drinks fridge, formal dinner service and cutlery. The garage holds cleaning eqipment , bedding and toles an ironing board and irons and hair dryers and hair straighteners Linen and towels both for bathrooms and pool and beach are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

The house is a perfect place to relax and offers internet televisions and limited internet access and some dvd entertainment. There is satellite spanish and European TV in the lounge.

There is an integral tiled large garage with automatic door controlled by remote fob. It opens direct on to front street and can accommodate 1 car. The owners store here 6 bikes, scooter, and 3 sets golf clubs, padel racquets, pool floats and lilos, beach chairs and mats parasol and ice box and fold up wheelchair all of which can all be borrowed by prior arrangement / request.


This house has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 10 and is licensed for 12 by using either the double sofa bed in the lounge or additional blow up temporary single or double beds stored in the garage. All bedrooms and the downstairs lounge have fixed air conditioned wall mounted units and temperature controlled by remotes. All windows are double glazed with security bars and blinds. Each bedroom stores its own linen, towels and spare bedding, blankets and covers.

In Bedroom 1, you will find a double bed, very large triple fitted wardrobe with hangers, wifi router, desk and chair, internet TV and DVD player and printer and plenty of floor space. There is an en-suite stand alone modern shower, toilet and sink in dressing cabinets with mirror.

Bedroom 2 is huge and double aspect with double patio doors opening on to a terrace overlooking the front of the property and window overlooking the rear garden and pool. It currently has 4 single beds set up as 2 singles and 2 joined together beds to make a super King sized bed. The configuration of this room is flexible and can be set up differently if requested and also has ample floor space for additional blow up beds if needed. 5 Door wardrobe with mirror, drawers and hangers.

Bedroom 3 contains a double bed, but could be set up as 2 singles if required. Triple wardrobe, drawers and hangers.

Bedroom 4 contains bunk beds - 2 singles, huge double-double fitted wardobe with hangers and overhead storage and a mini fridge.

On the ground floor from the street is level access through double metal security gates with intercom and door release from inside the property into an enclosed and walled front garden. Access through security front door into hall off which is kitchen to right and bathroom 3 to left, toilet, sink and shower with glass screen.
Door into large air conditioned lounge, electric radiator, fireplace not functional but for show, built in cupboards and drawers, glass cabinet, internet TV , DVD player and DVDs, 2 sofas one of which reclines into a large comfortable bed if required at push of a motorised button, double glazed patio doors with views over the garden and pool, leading on to rear tiled terrace with seating areas.

House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am.
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the property but is allowed in the gardens and roof terrace.
- There is free parking in. the garage for vehicles that can enter through the integrated garage door, roof boxes and roof mounted bikes would need to be removed outside first or there is free on street parking on the streets immediately surrounding the property.
- There is a cleaning fee on exit.
- Pets are allowed at the property but are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture. They are permitted to sleep overnight in the garage and if left alone during the day only in the garage.
- Guests are responsable for their own pool use and safety and can request the pool area cordoned off if so desired for the length of stay.
- Please replace kitchen, bathroom consumables if you use up ítems already there - you know oil , vinegar, salt , pepper , sun tan lotion, bottles of wine and beer in fridge for example.
- Air conditioning should only be used in enclosed rooms and to a minimum.
- Internet access is included but not guaranteed and fair data usage limits apply
- The villa is managed by a neighbour (at Number 181) Diego and he is there to meet and greet guests and hand over keys and give orientation of where things are in the property - he will also liaise with guests over his pool maintenance and garden watering duties and deal with any problems or issues arising on site. There is a key deposit of 100 euro payable directly to Diego on handover of keys which is returned when keys are handed back to him at the end of your stay.

Sehr hübsche Villa
Das geräumige Ferienhaus ist liebevoll und mit Blick fürs Detail eingerichtet. Die Terasse ist groß, die Bepflanzung gepflegt, der Pool sauber. Alles Notwendige war reichlich vorhanden. Diego war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Strand ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm.
