There areTwo beautiful kitchens. The Upstairs and downstairs is very spacious. There is a 9o inch tv in living room space great for movie nights. 2 full bathrooms on each floor. Our space is great for small events of 16-20 people!!

Comfortable and Spacious

It's a large house with 2 spacious floors and a kitchen on each floor. We enjoyed our stay. AC, TV in every room. Communication is very prompt. Requests were very responsive. The neighborhood is very well kept, nice and quiet. A gem in Roosevelt. Minor issues with ants, bringing dishes upstairs since that's where dishwasher is. Owner also said she will adjust fridge temperature so it's not so cold. Thank you!

Amazing home! But could be more clearer!

The entire state was amazing and everything was literally perfect. However, the home had some areas where things were either broken or a little dirty in spots. Overall though, the entire place was huge! Definitely bigger than the online listing. The backyard was beautiful. The photos on the listing are also a little old because the home had a lot of updates and modifications. Like I said, though it just couldā€™ve been cleaned a bit better and fixed in some areas so that people wouldnā€™t be afraid of being charged for anything that they didnā€™t break, etc.. wonderful stay though 3

Clean but a little sad

Place was clean and worked great for what we needed but it looked like just pit in leftover furniture- nightstands were more ok there needs to be something next to the bed then any thought into it how it looks . Every room had a TV bed and curtains thatā€™s it. Baseboard heaters cover were on the floor in every room - hazard if small kids. Extra kitchen was great but fridge was not working but made crazy noise and oven in working kitchen was not working. Neighborhood felt ok, good parking amount (3-4 cars on property and some street parking. Lots of areas felt they needed some talc ( damaged doors and walls) . Worst part was 2 hours before check in I was told I have to pay a cleaning fee now where mentioned before - Vrbo reimbursed me in the end as I had no choice paying it at that point. But Vrbo blamed host and host blamed Vrbo for not informing me. Not necessary issue when you travel.

I needed to book something quick for my uncles funeral that would accommodate my large family. This place was perfect and in an area that was close to the funeral home. We had enough space for everyone. Just needed to be more stocked with the essentials

Perfect for our need

Beautiful home that needed a sprucing. Upstairs bathroom mirror wasn't clean. Used toothbrush present. Utensils were sparse. TVs didn't work. And door keypad was inoperative. But we just needed a place to stay and we enjoyed our family's function despite.

Weekend Stay

For some reason he thought I canceled my reservation. When I got nervous that I hadn't recieved any check in information I messaged him. He did message me right back and apologized for the misunderstanding. I asked when we would get the access information and I didn't get a response. After a few hours I had to call VRBO because I was about to catch my flight. I had family that would be arriving before myself. I wanted to be sure they could get in , To be clear they would be there after check in time. VRBO called the host and I did get the info. Besides that, the communication was great, even when trying to get details about the location before we left. They house itself was in a fairly quite cul-de-sac. The house was a good size, fitting all of us comfortably. The house itself didnt have anything provided to wash dishes ( scrubbies, soap, kitchen towels). We used bathroom washclothes to dry with and bought the rest of the stuff. The pots and pans need to be replaced, they were so scratched up we really didn't want to cook in them. The house needed some serious cleaning. Your feet kind of stuck to the floor like it was sticky. My sister-in-law made the mistake of walking across the floor without shoes, her feet were almost black. Clearly the bedrooms hadn't really been swept, there was a sock from the previous people under the bed. But, it was right on the edge, if you woud have swept, you would have seen it. Weekend getaway.

Accommodations were definitely accurate to the ad. We only had a slight issue with the keypad but we got it. The neighbor was quiet. Great place to relax after running around the city all day!

Ideal location

At first it started off weird with one of the host but it worked itself out. the property is in a cudesac which is nice the entry code was long but that was minor. I did make some recommendations to the host with some minor things The beds are comfortable. You can sleep 12 adults 5 beds with 2 adults to a bed and 1 adult in each couch.you can bring an air mattress Overall the property worked out for what I needed it for . The property is 3 min from the southern start parkway which was perfect I will stay there again if I ever need a large place to stay

VRBO needs to fix communications issues

The property was fine as was host but there is a glitch in the VRBO system so I was not seeing the messages from the host about check in on the VRBO on line site - they were only coming by email which I later discovered.

Terrible communication and okay house

This host has terrible communication skills. The house was decent at best. This host had a ā€œlandscaperā€ drop by after night unannounced causing a dangerous situation where I thought there was a stranger in the back yard. It was the best but I would say spend your hard earned money else where it will be worth.

Home Away From Home

The house is as advertised with a big backyard, 3 picnic tables and a grill on a quiet Cul de sac. I hosted 7 adults and 2 children and had about 10 relatives from the area visit. We had plenty of room and good times. Definitely will rent again.

I guess my definition of ā€œcleanā€ is different than theirsā€¦

GPS- 3 min away I was in a very sketchy area. This location is located on a more ā€œprivateā€ drive, but surrounded by inner city. Did not feel at all comfortable. 1 of the 3 families decided to get a hotel and not stay with us because they did not trust the area. There were dirty dishes in the sink when we arrived. The dish washer was half full with dirty dishes as well. Full loaf of moldy bread in the cupboard next to the sink. Holes in walls and doors everywhere, and several of the windows did not even have blinds or drapes. Some that did were broken. Leaky ceiling when raining in the bathroom. 1 of the 2 refrigerators was broken. A smell of something dead coming from the locked basement. Did not report during at the beginning of the stay so that we did not get locked out. Reported on day 2, in hopes that there would be some sort of arrangements made, and before I even asked was told ā€œyouā€™re not getting a refundā€ leading me to believe this is not the first time this has happened. I am a VRBO owner myself, and know how a bad review can hurt, so have attempted to reach out several times before leaving an honest review. Communication was great until I shared 18 pictures and videos of what I witnessed. Very sad.

Short but great

I was very nervous upon our arrival but the process was a delight. When we had trouble with the locking of the door it was very easy to get in touch with them and directed to what needed to be done. Definitely locking this property down for our next trip to NY
