"Everything went really well. Naomi had left clear instructions on how to access the property etc. The cottage is well stocked with all cleaning products, which is always good as it helps you to clear and clean as you go along!The beds were really comfy and there was the bonus of a ceiling fan during the heat wave.Lots to do in the town and surrounding areas. "We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for four nights. It is located 5 mins drive from Rye town centre in a quiet, private location with allocated parking. The studio is spacious and the facilities are excellent for self-catering. We also ate twice at Layla's, a turkish restaurant, which is highly recommended. "The Hayloft was absolutely gorgeous with everything to the highest standard. Superb property with everything you could wish for and a lovely host. Beautiful location and views. Not sure where else you could relax in the hot tub as the sun sets while watching a crane fish in the small lake. Weather was unfortunately wet and windy a lot of our stay so didn't get to make use of the balcony. "Ignore the rubbish from cottages.com as they obviously do not have a clue. The front door facing North road is locked and bolted and so cannot be used to enter the property. Only by going down the steps and using the back door can you get in. The flat bronze yale style key next to the silver long key is the one you need. As the yale lock is loose you need to jiggle the key in the lock to even turn it. Watch out if your tall ... im 6' and had some close calls in the cottage. Do not attempt to use...

"An amazing property located in beautiful surroundings. The sheep are an added bonus.The deck is a lovely space to eat breakfast and watch the world go by and there are lots of lovely walks close by. Being opposite a pub that does food is a bonus and the proximity to the sea is perfect. Easy to find with safe convenient parking, the house had everything in that anyone could possibly want. "We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!"

The tv is shocking, needs a new cable. I did contact the owner who said he would look in to it but this never happened.
