The apartment is on the first floor of a charming 18th-century building. It has been recently renovated, revealing original wooden ceilings and terracotta brick walls from the 1700s ā€” a blend of history and modern comfort.

You cannot go wrong with this location - all the main sites can be accessed on foot. The property itself is quaint, older in style, and functional. The host was very helpful and organized transfers for us at a good rate.

Great Location and So Unique

My 13 year old and I stayed here for three days in June 2025. Great apartment with everything close by and walkable. Great communication with the owner and awesome walk thru of the property. Strong WiFi and AC. Would recommend and definitely stay again if we ever return to Rome. Clean and comfortable.

This apartment is in a great location, walking distance to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps to name a few. Apartment itself is a little quirky and a bit worn but has a lot of living space, the bed was clean and comfortable. AC worked very well as it was over 30 degrees when we visited Rome. Because of the bars below on street level it is noisy at night so with the windows closed/AC on we still used our phones white noise app and that allowed us to sleep well. Be prepared to hang your clothes on the line outside the bathroom window on a clothesline as the locals do, washer worked great. We also asked Angelo to book a driver to take us to the airport at the end of our stay. Very reliable. Angelo was very communicative throughout our stay when we had questions. Great location and host

We loved our stay. Angelo the host is very nice. The place is spacious with multiple sitting areas and plenty of room, and nicely decorated and cozy. It is an excellent location - all major attractions 30 minutes or less walk, Vatican about 15 minutes. Lots of restaurants within 5 minutes, but at the same time it is still a reasonably quiet street. It has a washing machine (no dryer - you just air dry). Good hair dryer for the ladies :), and even extra things such as umbrellas. Highly recommend

It's truly remarkable! Everything is within easy reach. The bus station is 2 blocks away, the supermarket is 2 blocks away, and there is even a winery just across the street. A 10-15 minute walk to Piazza Novona and Vatican City is a pleasant option. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the shower head pressure, hot and cold water. I would highly recommend this establishment. Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to Angelo for hosting us.

Great place and awesome location!

Nice apartment and listing is very accurate. It is an older place so some things are a bit worn, but overall we had everything we needed. One issue was street noise (Saturday a DJ played until midnight), so you might want earplugs. Thx Angelo!

Fantastic, walkable, location, interesting and comfortable older building.Sure, there are some ancient building quirks to work around, but the location canā€™t be beat! Great area!

We enjoyed our stay at Angelo's place. We were looking for a place that was a little more typical of a local Roman apartment, and I think this fit the bill. Windows open to a loud street, but closing the windows shuts out all the noise. Location was fantastic! Listing says there is a dryer, but there is not. There's a small drying rack and a clothesline out the bathroom window (that we weren't sure was for our use or the neighbors), but the small drying rack certainly wasn't large enough for a load of laundry on the one day it was raining on our trip. Overall, our contact with Angelo was very helpful and he was very responsive, and we enjoyed our stay! Would definitely consider staying here again. Oh, and there's a phenomenal gelato shop just down the block!

Our first time in Rome. The location is wonderful. Large city with small town feeling. Great restaurants in seconds from the front door. Bars, pastries, coffee, tea, pharmacy, market all seconds away. Marcone was a restaurant we frequented. Low prices, great food. Vecio is right across the street with excellent staff and wine, drinks, and small food that is delicious. 22 minute walk to colosseum. 11 minutes to Pantheon. 5 minutes to Campo di fiore. (Where we spent many evenings at Bachiana). About 25 minutes walk to Spanish steps and then 4-5 minutes to Trevi fountain. We took a lot of late night strolls to try and avoid massive crowds at some attractions like Trevi and Pantheon. Never felt unsafe. The apartment is nice. Exactly what you see in the pictures. Bed is pretty good. Washer is great but you must hang clothes to dry so be aware of moist air or rain. The courtyard where the line is strung doesnā€™t get much breeze. Bus line is maybe 300-400 feet away. We had a 7 day bus pass and used it to go to further away places and then walk our way back while exploring. The local Romanā€™s are so nice. They gave us pointers about the area. Places to see and walk to. The wine is out of this world. Canā€™t recommend enough! Canā€™t wait to return.

Great Apartment

Angelo was quick to respond with any questions I had. He arranged for a pick up and drop off shuttle service for us. Location was in walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The apartment was very spacious for two people. After exploring the city in 90 degree weather it was nice to come back to an air conditioned apartment! The washer came in handy as we were continuing on vacation after our stay in Rome. I would highly recommend this apartment and Iā€™m so glad we decided on it. It was fabulous in every way!

Everything was as described. We loved the location for walkability and found Angelo very easy to communicate with. He was especially helpful with helping us to navigate getting from the Port to his apartment and then arranging a driver for us to get to the airport on time. It was a great stay.

Perfect Apartment in Rome

The location was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed for 4 days in Rome. Angelo was very helpful arranging an airport shuttle for us and very responsive when we had questions. Iā€™d definitely stay there again. Thank you Angelo and Rosario!
