"Found this lovely cabin through VRBO and so happy I did. It was everything and more. The location to where we wanted to explore and entertainment right at the cabin itself with the lake just being steps down on the property. The host was very accommodating and offered ideas of places to eat in the area and had kayaks and life jackets for our use. "The cabin had lot's of nice touches and fun stuff to look at. It was a quite and relaxing place to come back to after a day of fishing. The fire pit area was perfect for hanging out and making smores. The cabin is close to a lot of great outdoorsy stuff. All in all, we had a great mini-vacation and will consider staying there again next time we head up to Fletcher's for fishing."

"I’m 33 weeks pregnant so we wanted a close-ish getaway with family before the big day. This place was perfect. We enjoyed burgers and dogs on the grill, had smores each night around the fire and the kayaks were so fun! We ventured into the town for dinner and also checked out the waterfall which provided enjoyment for everyone from our toddler to my mother in law! Great spot. "

"This is our second stay at the cabin and it was just as great as the first. It is clean, stocked with everything you could have possibly forgotten or need, and the bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Maj-Lis is always an incredible host, and we look forward to returning! "

"This cabin is just right for two people. It's so quiet in the woods with just one other cabin nearby but far enough apart to feel like you're by yourselves. Had everything we needed. Small kitchen but very suitable for cooking meals. Grilling supplies (including charcoal and starter fluid)made it easy to grill out. Nice little porch to enjoy coffee in the morning. I would recommend for anyone who looks for a quiet place away from the action."

"We had three middle-aged siblings, their spouses, and mostly young adult children/cousins (17-26, one 13 year old), totaling 11. The house is beautiful, large fully equipped kitchen with many nice-to-haves in addition to the basics like insulated coffee carafe, muffin tin, etc, and a second fridge in the entry way! Beds were comfortable, rooms were a little tight for the number of young adults (they were all in the bunk beds/sofa bed, probably would have been better for three or fewer couples...

"We stayed in the unit for two nights. Very clean place, quiet environment. We had very good night rest. This unit has stove and a normal size fridge. We were gone during the day - enjoying the beach, swimming in the lake. Hoeft State Park is 11 miles away. Ocqueoc falls is 10 miles away. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here 2 years ago and enjoyed everything about it. The location, property, the house, were everything and more that we hoped for. We enjoyed our stay this time just as much, if not more. We appreciated the upgrades that were made, from the bigger TV and new refrigerator, to the wooden swing out front. We would definitely stay here again."

"We have family in the Rogers City area and this home was a great central base for us to visit relatives and take advantage of the lake and downtown. The listing was accurate and parking very convenient. The host was very responsive and helped us a great deal during our stay. My elderly aunt and mom are already talking about next year. Our only wish would be for handrails on the porches and possibly in the bathroom, but we know not everyone needs to worry about these issues."
