The space was as described and the pool was terrific. We enjoyed being in a smaller town where we could see stars at night but close enough to Rockford with plenty of things to do. "

"Rockford is my hometown. Always had to rent multiple hotel rooms to accommodate my family. This year, we found this gem. We have rented VRBOs in multiple states and countries and this is one of the best VRBOs. The owner took great care in making sure the property is safe and all the amenities that a guest would need on a trip. Next time we return, this will be our go to place. "

"The house was absolutely perfect. We stayed for a long weekend over the 4th of July holiday with three other families. We were close enough to amenities if/when we needed them, but had absolutely no reasons to leave the property - so much to do for everyone. The owner was wonderful to engage with, he was even able to supply wheelchair ramps to make the home more assessable for someone in our group who has a disability. We are already talking about booking again next year!"
