"We had a great time at Songbird View! The house was perfect with an amazing view. There was plenty of room for our family to space out and enjoy themselves. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed for our stay. We enjoyed lots of our meals on the deck. The kayak and paddle board were great for our children and the adults to enjoy. "13 of us stayed at this house for 4 nights. We all had plenty of space to spread out and come together. The lake access is fantastic. There are so many amenities, even an ice maker. We loved the huge hot tub that overlooks the water and outdoor fireplace. There are plenty of cold storage options. We highly recommend staying here!"

" We recently stayed at this amazing house with 18 people, including 2 under 2, 3 under 12, 4 teenagers, and 9 adults. There was plenty of space and fun for everyone! "We’ve spent a decade on the Lake and we had another wonderful trip! THANK YOU to Mary who was a fantastic hostess from the very beginning – wildly responsive to messages, checked in on us every few days, provided recommendations in the area, and greeted us with flowers / coffee / chocolates at the house. "We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! I could go on forever…By far one of my favorite stays at Lake Gaston. Thank you Edie and Steve for a wonderful core memory vacation. "

"We really enjoyed this lake house, we had a really good time. Lots of amenities available on the property for entertainment. Some upkeep could be done to the place, new lightbulbs , and just general maintenance but other than that, great time! We do an annual men's trip and this is our first time doing it at Lake Gaston and we want to come back here in the future "
