We enjoyed this homebase immensely as our primary vacation experience with the sand, the waves, and the rising of the sun always available -- and with the hot tub and outdoor pool as pluses. "Found this to be a great property to stay at. Perfect location, nice layout for spending time with family. Good view of ocean waves from balcony. Lots of extras good for staying with kids if you have them. Stairway carpets have some stains but that's only a minor flaw. Otherwise quite clean. Backyard was very useable with only a few stickers which didn't seem to get stuck in my dog's paws."

"We enjoyed staying at a sound house for the first time at the OBX. The main living part of the house was perfectly fine and clean and the rooms were decent size. The exterior of the house and the downstairs could use some attention. As other reviews have mentioned, the siding on one side of the house has melted from a house fire that was next door; curious when they will fix this as it's been mentioned in a few reviews And, I don't know if we just went at a time when the bugs had been...

"Clean, comfortable with lots of stairs and the most rain I have seen on the outer banks. One of our grand daughters cannot have gluten so we did lots of cleaning while we were there. We washed all the dishes and silverware before using them to be safe. "

"The house was very nice, clean, and self check-in was easy. Communication with the host, Debbie was great. The house is walking distance to the beach and the grocery store and was perfect for my wife and I. It is close to a bunch of restaurants and activities in Nags Head and you can use the provided bicycles to get to them. "

"The home was perfect for our group. Large, spacious indoor and out. Everything is meticulously maintained and tastefully decorated. Plenty of gathering spots inside the home for entertaining. The grounds outside are also well maintained and offer lots of opportunities for activities. Highly recommend this property!"

"I had a lovely, relaxing and quiet stay at John's property. It's located on a beautiful cul de sac that backs up to a canal - saw a Snowy Egret looking for frogs twice. The trees around the yard are full of singing birds. It's a great location without all the traffic and noise of the beach. Really comfortable bed and living room. I'm sure I'll be back."

"We had such a great time in South Nags Head at 3 Gulls and a Bouy. Our favorite part was catching the sunrises from the decks and walking the end of the beach. Our kids loved the easy beach access and several board games to keep us busy on the one rainy day. Everyone in our family loved staying here and we were sad to leave!!"
