The hotel itself was generally fine—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. However, our experience took a frustrating turn at check-out. We noticed an unexpected charge on our credit card with no explanation. After calling the hotel, we were informed it was a pet fee, despite the fact that we did not have a pet with us.
What made matters worse was the lack of accountability. We were told to call back the next day to speak with a manager, only to be told then that no manager would be available for another two days. Being charged a fee without any verification or prior notice is unacceptable, and the poor communication afterward only added to our disappointment.
We expect transparency and proper verification from any hotel, especially when it comes to billing. There was no pet. No fee should have been charged. We’re still waiting for a resolution.
