LOZ Family Fun Lakefront Vacation Log Home #8 , 6500sf, 5bd, loft, 4 bath

Privacy! Quiet! Fun! Eagles. Fishing. Swimming. Boating. Skiing. Tubing. Relaxing. Star Gazing. Family Time. Kayaking, Grilling Out (gas grill). These are some of the many fun and exciting activities you can do on site. Our Log Home is located 1 mile down a mostly blacktopped road, of which we are surrounded by lots of trees.

Stay at our beautiful log cabin, that offers a spacious, 6500 sq. ft, 5 bedroom plus loft. 4 BA, a wood burning fireplace (wood provided) and a wood stove. Nestled at the end of a wooded lane on 3 acres, you will enjoy your privacy and what Mother Nature is offering. Located near 7MM on the Big Niangua arm with calm water, this home offers the benefits of living on the lake without all the noise and traffic. Perfect for spending time with the family for a weekend getaway, a family vacation or even a family reunion, wedding, church retreats; Sleeps 22.

This home has three decks on the back of the house, relax on the screened in upper deck, out of the sun, or enjoy the beautiful views of the lake from any of the decks. You might even see a bald eagle or two! If your party wants to rent a boat or jet-skis from the nearby Marina, the dock offers 2 jet-ski lifts and 1 boat slip, as well as a large swim deck, fun for all ages. A public access boat ramp is located within a mile. Adults can enjoy watching sports or a movie in the game room while playing pool or working out on the exercise equipment. This secluded house is located in a picturesque setting surrounded by trees and beautiful landscaping. Let your vacation start here...

We would love to share our beautiful lakefront log cabin home with you and your family. There is lots of space for having fun and entertaining. We look forward to hearing from you.
Boat and Jet Ski Rentals nearby. Lots of great restaurants and night life in the area. Great parks, Bridal Cave, Outlet shopping.

Master bedroom: ensuite master bath, on main level, queen bed, shower, tub, two single vanities, lake view, with access to deck.
Bedroom 2: Main Level, King bed.
Bedroom 3: Lower Level, 2 queen beds, with adjoining den, lake view, access to deck.
Bedroom 4: Lower Level, 2 queen beds.
Bedroom 5: Lower Level, King Bed, lake view, access to deck with spa.
Loft: 6 twin beds and one Queen. Great for the kids.

Bathrooms:
Master bath, shower, tub, two single vanities.
Bathroom 2: Main Level. Located next to bedroom 2.Tub only.
Bathroom 3: Lower Level, near bedroom 3. Tub/shower.
Bathroom 4: Lower Level, near bedroom 4 & 5, Large shower.

Kitchen: 2 large refrigerators, double oven & stove, microwave.
Settings for 30+. Small appliances, various utensils & cookware.
Dining/seating for 22.

Sun Room: Main Level: Beautiful lake views.

Smart TV with YouTube TV for the Great room, Living room, Den, and the Game room.
Other apps available with your account sign in.

Game Room: Pool Table, Exercise equipment. TV.

Dock, with swim deck area, Water Mat, one boat slip available for use, and two PWC lifts

Sorry no party groups, no smoking or Vaping, and no pets.
Minimum age 25, to sign the contract, and must also be staying at our log home.

We have our own cancellation policy.
CANCELLATIONS- A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date, a $200.00 administration fee is charged. Cancellations that are made within 30-59 days of the arrival date, will incur a 50% penalty of the total rental rate and taxes. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival date forfeit 100% of total rental rate and taxes. Cleaning fees and security deposit will be refunded. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. We do not refund rent or deposits lost due to canceled or shortened stays because of weather. Departures due to inclement weather do not warrant refund of rent or deposit.

Family Vacation at LOZ

Our vacation at Terrie and Terry's lake house at the "Magic Dragon" was outstanding! The house was everything as advertised and more. The pier, dock and shoreline were excellent for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and jet skiing. The kitchen had wonderful appliances and serving items to meet our cooking needs, and the grill worked perfectly. The owners could not have been more responsive. Five stars all the way. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lake of the Ozarks!Kraig, Joele and Family

Wonderful remote getaway

Words cannot express the way this home opens up and draws you in. There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone and they were all very nice and quiet. We especially enjoyed the upper deck and the dock. Lake life at it's best right here!

Amazing property

We enjoyed everything about this cabin!! We had a variety of weather during our stay, but whether it was raining or sunny, there were plenty of options for activities. And a dining room table big enough for our group of 11 to eat together!!!

Idyllic setting on busy waterway

This is a beautiful large property in an idyllic setting. The location is outside the center of town and remote so it will take you longer to get places. This didn’t bother me as I enjoyed the drive through nature. The house had comfortable spaces for our group to gather. The kitchen is fantastic: I appreciated the two large modern coffeemakers, digital double ovens, high end finishes, and nice appliances. Nice big grill outside. Direct lake views from the decks although somewhat obscured by trees. The house could benefit from more temperature zones. There are only two thermostats with each one controlling one half of the house. The problem is there are three levels so the people upstairs are hot while the downstairs is frigid. The beds and bedding are not terrible but not very comfortable either. The house is filled with personal photos of the owners family; they literally cover every wall and surface. This, along with cautionary notes everywhere, felt intrusive—case in point—the owners showed up with their cleaning crew 15 minutes before checkout. Finally, while the setting is remote and serene, the water out front is a boating superhighway. There is no protective cove and boaters come closer to the dock than allowed. A strong wake constantly slams into the dock. I worried about the kids swimming. Our kids are young teens but if you have small children I would not recommend this place as I think it’s too dangerous to play in the water.

Restful place Perfect for our needs

This place was perfect. Our family of 18 had plenty of space. The teenager and kids enjoyed the loft. The kitchen was ideal, large and well stock with all the utensils needed. The dining areas were great. Our whole family found places to rest and play. The dock with the lily pad was used all the time. And the two refrigerators by the kitchen were ideal. Thank you for the great place to escape the world..

Family vacation

We had an all family vacation with 20 of us gathering together, ages from 8-80. We all enjoyed the home and everything that was offered with the home. Baseball tournament week stay

Our 12u baseball team stayed here while we played in the lake of the ozarks tournament. The kids had a ball after they got done playing each day they got to enjoy the lake and the amazing house. House is huge. We had 11 12 year olds stay with us plus 3 coaches families. Amazing view and home. We will be back next year when we play in same tournament again.

Family trip

The Lake House was a perfect place for our annual family lake trip. Everyone had a bed. The home was clean and well stocked. We spent most of our time on the dock - the lake toys were amazing for the teenagers in our group. The evenings were spent around the fire pit - singing and sharing stories. So many memories were made. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great Property for Large Groups

We had a cozy stay at this property. Everything was good and the property manager was courteous. The only thing that we missed was enough lighting in the home. It looked gloomy and dull when we spent time inside the home.

We loved it

We could only stay for the weekend and wished we could have stayed longer. The best part was the Aqua Lily Pad and the private dock - it was so easy to just head on down to the dock and hang out on the lake all day. The hosts were easily reachable when we had problems but not overly in-our-face. The only thing I worried about was that there were a lot of wasps - I think they must have sprayed for them, because we found several dead ones. Nothing that ruined the weekend or anything, but something to look out for. Overall, 10/10, would book again.

Favorite Vacation For All!

Everyone in our group, from 13 to 71, loved these accommodations! The view from the deck - gorgeous & makes morning coffee the best. We had an amazing time on the dock & game time in dining room. Ventured out to some great places close by. Nice to have a quick stop so close. Beds are SO comfy! We plan to be back! Thanks to the hosts who were very helpful & gracious! You guys rock!

As good as it gets!!

We had a wonderful time with our family at this location! The hosts were prompt in answering any questions we had. There were 15 of us, and each couple had a bedroom. The loft was perfect for our grandchildren! They loved it! The views were wonderful, and the kids loved hearing and seeing the raccoons at night. We would stay here again.

A wonderful summer vacation!

This is a beautiful property! Very clean when we arrived, and you feel right at home inside and out, it has everything! We caught lots of fish off the dock, several keepers and were able to have a fish fry! The kids loved the loft and playing in the lake! The house is extremely spacious for alot of family members, the beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The pool table was a crowd pleaser and also the large dining room table for game nights :) Thank you Terry and Terrie for sharing your home with us, we loved it !!

Westminster College Reunion

4 roommates returning after over 50 years to the lake. Brought our spouses. With the ability to have separate suites for all it worked great. We ate at Porta Chima (15 minutes). The kitchen was huge with all we needed. Grilled one night. Rented a boat for two days. The weather was spectacular (late Sept). Lake was empty (MTW). Loved it all. Grilled, used the fire pit and TV's. All guests were impressed.
