Served its purpose but will not return
I have stayed at many short term rentals. This had the worst check in process ever. I had to send pictures of my personal credit card and drivers license multiple times and they kept claiming they werent getting it. I wasnt sent the specific address until 9pm the day of check in.
The house next door on BOTH sides was abandoned and windows boarded up.
The rental we were in was missing half of once side of the back yard fence completely. Yard was completely overgrown weeds. The house had electrical cords running along basebaords. The floors had screws in them holding them in place. The fourth bedroom should clearly state it is only for children. Its a homemade bedframe on the floor with only a mattress topper thrown over it. There was no walking room. THe door opens straight to the bed which takes up the entire space. No closet or walking area.
The house was cleaner then I expected based on the reviews I read prior. And they did message me very quickly after leaving to let me know I forgot a pair of airpods and I was able to turn around and collect them from the cleaning crew.
The house was large and spacious but not enough seating spaces in the living room for everyone. It served its purpose but it was not a nice property.
