"I booked this home on the assumption that the kayak was for a full sized person and not a child. So, if that’s important to you bring your own. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels and blankets. The home suited our family of 6 well. The back and Front porches were lovely. The side porch off of the master was not in good shape and we chose not to use it. There was a lot of mouse evidence and a large cockroach. We had problems checking in but the host did a great job communicating...

"We had a wonderful stay at Bro Dave's Mountain home! The view was amazing and the proximity to lots of other attractions made the location perfect! We did a nice road bike ride around the block-8 miles and only saw 8 cars. Then we drove for 5 minutes into the state park and rode a nice easy trail, which was perfect. Chattanooga is just 20 ish minutes away, so you can eat at some really good restaurants. The beds are comfortable and the ac worked really well. Thanks Bro Dave!"

"The place was very clean and I appreciated the host. I was expecting a long clean up list only to find they didnt have one for when i was leaving so my morning was pretty relaxing. The place is very small and cute. Only this is the place is built for someone taller and there is a step stool but it took me a minute to find it since it was behind the bar stool."

"This location was great. The cabin had everything we needed. We encountered a few bugs, but thats to be expected when you're out in the woods. The creek was bone dry, but it was a very short walk to a public access area at the river. My kids loved it so much. They got to wake up and play outside right away every morning. "We were surprised the cabin was on the corner of a street leading to a dead end with other cabins . We had a lot of traffic. The neighbors big dog howled alot ( I know it isn’t the owners fault). The floors need a good cleaning. Also the temperature should be dropped to below 80 before arrival in the summer. The cabin was very hot and the concrete floors were wet. It needs more wash cloths. Would never be enough for the amount of people it is supposed to cater to. Bed was very comfortable....
