"Lovely, small apartment - we were a group of three friends so used the sofa bed to ensure all had a bed each. Beds were comfortable. The apartment is a bit dark as opening windows would be directly on to pavement but makes great use of a small space. We found the check in instructions a bit hard to follow as post box and apartment don't say the name on them. We had a great stay and I would consider staying here again."

We took the RER to Gard du Nord, and then a taxi back to the station when we left--- seemed to work out easily and well. There is a taxi stand by the Pigalle metro a short downhill walk. The area is active and somewhat touristy, but you are convenient to a myriad of good restaurants (try Oce), cafes, bars, stores, shops and bakeries. "This property is located on the same block as a Metro/Train stop so that made it very convenient to tour around Paris. Also close to Bercy Arena, within walking distance. Nice to have four separate bedrooms (2 up and 2 down). Plus one with twin beds so folks don't have to share a bed. Door to get in is a bit tricky and old-fashioned. "Spacious (large rooms, modern bathrooms and kitchen), well equipped (kids loved the ping pong table!), and in a congenial area. Never understood why people feel they must be in center city. Here, you have a real Paris neighborhood, only 5 minutes from a Metro with a direct 15 minute connection to Hotel de Ville. Excellent communication with owner right next door. We would come again in a second - and plan to do so!"
