"We had a wonderful stay at MacLean Cottage. A spaciius house with lots of atmosphere. But also the location was great: a beautiful view over Loch Broom and a 20 minutes drive to Ullapooland there are natural surroumdings all over. We had a warm welcome on arrival which also attributed to our stay! We would book it again if returning to this area."

"My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful three weeks at Foinaven, and had a couple of friends from home visit for a week during our stay. We flew in and out of Inverness and rented a car for a reasonable price so that we could take day trips here and there (we really didn’t need it much in Ullapool, except for larger grocery runs). "Wir waren mit 5 Personen für 2 Wochen dort. Das Haus ist sehr groß und geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder mit WC sind vorhanden. Sehr schön ist der Wintergarten. Die Lage eignet sich gut für Wanderausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend schön, egal ob an der Küste oder im Landesinneren. Auto ist aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage notwendig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert."

"Ons verblijf was super. Verblijf is prachtig gelegen aan het water. Hebben verschillende uitstapjes/wandelingen gemaakt in de nabije omgeving (Poolewe en Grailoch). In het kleine verblijf was alles aanwezig van afwasmachine tot wasmachine, kookgerei etc. Teleurstellend was de communicatie, die was er helemaal niet. We hebben een paar dagen van te voren via de site aangegeven wanneer onze aankomst zou zijn. Helaas is daar geen antwoord op gekomen. Ook gebeld maar kregen een ingesproken bericht....

"Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect. My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper.
