"Was there for 5 nights in October. Still very warm, air worked great. Spacious and tasteful decor. While I don’t cook while in Italy, there were dishes, fridge and counter/chairs for snacks, wine and contemplation … Can I live here forever? Because of gated courtyard, it was quiet and I felt like a local. Lovely neighbor who I would see around town. Seriously loved every moment 🍷❤️🇮🇹"

"My group consisted of myself and my two adult daughters. We loved staying in this house. The location is perfect, very central to everything in Ortigia. The beds were comfortable and the AC was top notch. The only thing that this rental is lacking is a general area to be together, unless you want to sit at the kitchen table. But it’s still 5 stars for us!"

"The home was beautiful we enjoyed all of our monthlong stay very much. Took us a while to figure out the locking gates and doors and the recycle situation. Other than that everything was wonderful."

"The property is set in a lovely and peaceful location, very spacious, clean and well maintained. Lovely seating area outside under the bougainvillea and jasmine, overlooking the mountains and sea. There were an additional 3 seating areas inside. Small but well equipped kitchen. Great little utility room with washing machine, additional toilet and shower. "We were in the apartment for two weeks and loved it. The remodeling of our unit was obviously done with taste and attention to detail. The location could not have been better unless you require a view but we were perfectly happy with “our little courtyard” and the proximity to everything. The only wrinkle was water pressure . "We came in from the USA. We really enjoyed the stay. The property is well-maintained and clean and the pool is awesome.Beds work are super comfortable-great shower-and the kitchen was nice too. We found Avola to be a great location close to the highway. We were surprised that there is way more restaurants than we anticipated seeing online.Grocery stores in the area are cheap in my mind. And it was great buying real pasta and meats and the wine here is so cheap.It can be a little tricky finding...
