We were a group of 4 (two couples) and we used the pool every day and Escape Away Belize had the cleanest beach in the area. We did book a few excursions (snorkel and dive day, and a catamaran sail), but we had what we needed at the property if someone just wanted to chill there the whole time, and the wonderful staff made the vacation memorable. "We loved our stay at the Dreaded Grape cabana. The photos don't do justice to the size of the property in a lovely courtyard with an honesty bar full of cold beers. It's steps away from a quiet beach and easy walking distance to the centre of Caye Caulker. Excellent air conditioning and the cabana was well equipped with coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we loved sitting out on the terrace for breakfast. Ben was a great host and gave us excellent tips to help us make the most of our stay....

"Still Waters was the Perfect place for our family to reconnect for our family vacation. Our family is split up between Iowa and Colorado and we love that it was a bit off the beaten path and not in the hustle and bustle of the town. "Beautiful ocean view! The caretakers of the home, James and Bea, made the experience great. The bedrooms have mini split air conditioners that can be used limited hours. The house is otherwise cooled at the mercy of the ocean breeze. The hammock, lounges, and wooden chairs provide plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. "We really enjoyed the privacy of the rental! We booked massages, Tropic air tickets, and a golf cart through Jessi, the guest experience manager and it helped so much! We even needed to make a change to our return flights to BZE and Jessi took care of it immediately. Just to be forewarned the property is a bit far from everything so a golf cart is an absolute necessity. It takes about 15 mins to get to town via golfcart but there are some restaurants closer. We rode the bikes to go places and we also called for a taxi a couple times to go to the split. We also enjoyed walking it. The washer and dryer was very useful and allowed us to have clean clothes in our suitcase when leaving. We had everything we needed here. It’s definitely paradise here."
