"Same experience as the above reviews. If it wasn’t that our son was in Edinburgh fringe we would never have endured the smell and dirt, there was no alternative available. After complaining we did appreciate getting a partial refund from the host. The money that was not returned was VRBO’s portion and I plan to argue for that too. They are responsible for checking properties so they should refund their portion too and take down this terrible property that no one should have to stay in. To be...

"We had a fantastic stay at the property over New Year. The house was clean, comfortable and lots to do. The host was extremely helpful and made the check in process easy, The location was great, only a 10 minute walk in Swanage, you do have to walk up a hill to get back to the house, which wasn’t an issue for us "

"The property is clean and well maintained there are a significant amount of steps to get to it (I counted 62 in all) but the views at the top are worth it. One word of warning though, I found out to my dismay that there was no network coverage at the property so you can't access the email containing your key code to get in the property when you arrive so make a note of it beforehand. I didn't and had to walk back down all those steps to the main car park to get reception and access the email...

"All of our guests for the Hen weekend made the weekend fun and the local cimmunity were really friendly. Unfortunately I had a few issues with the host, Chris. I had requested an early entry by 2 hours and in short was told yes for £50 payment as he had to arrange someone to be at the house. "From start to finish our week long holiday was fantastic in terms of the cottage itself and the surrounding area. Plenty of space inside and outside the cottage, the fire and hot tub were a lovely addition to an already fantastic stay. Cooking and dining in the generous kitchen space was most enjoyable. "
