It is out of the way of anything so I would recommend bringing some microwable food but that means it is perfect for an escape from the hustle of life and a peaceful retreat. I know it's advertised as a wedding and event destination but I do think it should be more of a retreat destination. "

"Our first impression of the site exceeded our expectations!The photos of the property, and the views of the surrounding property do not do justice to the actual surroundings! The white entry rock drive is a little narrow, but the directions from the Scenic 7 Gift Shop are perfect!The design of the house fits perfectly with the lot location. "Nice place, but we stayed on the lower level. The guests above us had children and teens, and the foot steps were loud, especially during early morning hours. Next time, I’d request upper unit! "

"The accomodations were perfect for our family of 11 adults and 5 young children, as we gathered from three different locations. If anything, the place is larger than it looks in the photos. Beautiful location, with easy access to the Buffalo River and hiking. Kitchen is well-stocked. Host is super-responsive - both before and during our stay. Highly recommend it!"
