"Excellent , perfect add on to my Charleston french quarter trip. Beware the bad reviews are old, for a minute I was in doubt and after was very happy I made it. The hotel was renovated recently. Staff was extremely friendly starting from Holly at front desk and Lucas and Lucy at lodge and helping around. I was recovering from a broken foot and they made their best to acomodate my needs. "This is our second time here. We enjoyed it so much last summer that we came back. A great hotel with spectacular views of the ocean. Room was spacious and 2 elevators worked fast! Hotel balcony was nice to relax and sit for awhile in am/pm and have a cool breeze. We loved the pool as very clean. We also loved the hotel access to the beach/pier as just a few steps away. Lots of parking around building or under the building. Five restaurants on site, ice cream shops and beach shopping. We love...

"We LOVED our stay! It was a short walk down the boardwalk right to the beach and we could rinse off outside before going back to our rooms. The beds were very comfortable and showers were very nice. The cleanliness of the rooms was great and housekeeping each day was so timely and well done. My whole family said we would come back here in a heartbeat! Awesome vacation!"
