"My wife and I came to stay for a quiet getaway on the frozen bay, and it turned out to be just perfect for that. We read books and ate pizza from The Log Cabin and watched early 2000s movie dvds on the TV upstairs. The two electric fireplaces inside were running on full the whole time we were out there, but they managed to stave off the cold! "This property had everything we needed for our family vacation: comfortable beds, cozy lounging spots, central location (3 minutes to most everything, and 6 to 10 minutes to everything else), off the main street, and plenty of entertainment options to keep the family engaged during downtime. "House was older, but charming. Very clean and well kept. Also great location to walk to downtown Frankenmuth which was a plus during Winterfest when driving is difficult. Only complaint might be lots of traffic even at night so it’s not real quiet to sleep. Would suggest curtains in upstairs bedrooms to help block out city lights. The blinds on the windows were not enough. "
