"Great access to downtown. Cottage was clean and very nice. Greatly appreciated the use of the beach towels and beach chairs. "

"Great place. Responsive owners who live next door. Ample space for 2 people. Nice outdoor area including deck with a great view and a hot tub. Clean, everything needed for cooking, chairs and cooler. Only thing I'll say, which is a St John thing overall, have a 2 door jeep. Very least have ground clearance, 4x4 would be preferable. You won't get around this island and up and down this driveway without it. It's worth it though. Have fun! "

"Cute comfortable cottage on the quiet side of the island near Salt Pond Bay and Coral Bay. It has two beds- both really comfortable - one in the kitchen and one on the porch. Insects not a problem with fans and a mosquito net outside. Beautiful view. Bananaquits at the feeder every morning were a delight. So comfy and easy. 4WD a must to explore all the beaches, but you can see many without it. Don't miss Thursday open Mic at Miss Lucy's and Skinny Legs. (We can't decide on or favorite beach),...

"What an amazing stay! Everything about this place was top notch. Hidden away on the East side, away from all the tourists. The pool was great and Lorraine made sure we had everything we needed. "My wife and I recently stayed at Moonglow Cottage. We had a wonderful time and everything was perfect! The property manager, Bob, made checking in easy. The location was great, the views from the house were beautiful. We had a great trip and hope to stay at Moonglow in the future! Thank you!"

"Jim's property exceeded our expectations on all counts! The house is on Johnson's Bay, overlooking the East End and Norman Island. The views are spectacular in all directions. Coral Bay with its stores, restaurants and bars is a quick 5 minute drive. The house had everything we wanted in a vacation house, including an ice maker. "Liked the fact that there were two separate apartments but could gather in the evening on the top deck and enjoy the views. My brother and his adult son stayed in one unit and my husband and I were in the other. The area was quiet and felt safe. It was easy to find with the directions given. I have been to St. John’s several times and the Fish Bay Area is my favorite area to stay."

"VRBOs are hit or miss, but this place is an absolute hit. The host did all the little things to make us feel welcomed- waters, bug spray, little shampoos, coffee. Plus, what a beautiful place - truly a gem tucked in the “jungle” of St. John. As others have written, getting there is quite the adventure - the steepest streets I have ever been on and many discarded vehicles to get around, but nothing the hosts can do about that. "Enjoyed our stay - kitchen was well equipped, washer/dryer, comfy bed, plenty of linens, and enjoyed the back deck. Host was very helpful when we had questions or concern. Clean and thoughtfully appointed. Downsides: location difficult for taxi driver to find us, and the roosters - for a while in early morn, a brief period about 3 AM (?), and pretty much all afternoon. We sort of adjusted, and other than those times, neighborhood was completely quiet."

"This villa resort is in the luxury class of properties. It consists of six luxury villas which all have spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and the islands of the British Virgin islands. These units sit on top of a mountain called Picture Point. The property is well maintained and each unit comes with all the amenities that you would need, including a washer and dryer. The infinity pool and hot tub are wonderful. If you want class and luxury this is the place to rent."

"Nice property with easy access to local beaches. Pool area was nice and clean and pool restaurant was terrific! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend for families.No beach on site but, cabs are readily available to take you anywhere you want to go."

"The property was pretty central to everything you would want to access or do on the island. You’ll definitely require a JEEP if you’re planning to venture out on your own. It was safe and quiet but rather difficult to find after dark. Signage for the property isn’t well lit and a bit faded. A few of the condo buildings still had hurricane damage and were fenced off but looked a little destitute in the daytime. Overall, the unit we stayed in was beautifully renovated and comfortable. Hotel falido e funcionários mal educados

"O Hotel está falido. Há décadas sem manutenção, tudo quebrado. O serviço, sem dúvida, foi o pior que já vi. Com falta de funcionários e os poucos que trabalham são extremamente rudes e mal educados. Não há qualquer tipo de auxílio aos hóspedes, as coisas básicas faltam… a limpeza é inexistente, o hotel parece um cenário de guerra. Chuveiro não funciona, vaso sanitário não funciona, é tanta sujeira e cabelo de outros hóspedes que chega ser assustador. Ficamos 2 dias no hotel e a experiência foi a pior que já tive, nunca tinha visto gente tão mal educadas, desde os hóspedes até os funcionários. Fujam pq é uma furada."
