"If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Everything at the cabin was great. The only downfall is the location. Most of the infrastructure is 20-30 minutes away, so make sure that you have your gas tank filled and all of the food that you need when you get to the cabin. "I wish i had it in me to give this place a terrible review. That would be for selfish reasons. Great little house in the woods under 10 minutes from everything. I was apprehensive after reading other reviews, rental car company messed up and gave me a little carolla instead of an SUV. Carolla got up the driveway just fine, no problems with the water or water pressure, property manager was great, price was perfect for what i got, dryer was swapped out the day i arrived, it was a great vacation. ...

"My grown daughter and I stayed here two nights during a photography trip. It’s a very nice accommodation, roomy and a fully stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds. The location close to the beach and a bit away from town makes it quiet and relaxing, yet it’s only an 8 minute drive to town. Tammy was very nice and easy to work with. A great vacation house!"

"We stayed 4 nights at Whales Watch. We found the property clean, and VERY well equiped to cook or bake. We felt like we were in our own house. The location, just steps from Haceta Beach can't be beat, we could take a walk on the beach several times a day and totally exhaust our dogs. "We've stayed here twice so far. The owners are very nice and helpful. We ordered food and didn't have any plates or silverware, but the owner supplied us with both and saved us a trip to the store. It's an older motel but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Even though it's on a main road, it's surprisingly quiet. We will be staying here again. "
