"Lovely reception, family room perfect with surprise extra bed, lovely and clean, gorgeous towels and space. Very nice bar, restaurant and friendly staff. Slow service at dinner but it was busy, Food was sadly average . All looked lovely but needed more flavour. I do a lot of cooking so maybe fine to someone that only eats simple foods . "Nice room and pleasant staff . Very good breakfast , Only thing that tainted our stay was the dog was not allowed to eat in restaurant and we were directed to the bar or outside . Neither was an option as the bar was packed due to sport and outside was cold . So no evening meal . Some leniency on our dog in restaurant would have been appropriate given the situation . "

"An amazing Christmas break with family from the moment we walked in.Check in process with David was fantastic showing us the facilities,We were greeted with welcome goodies for an afternoon tea The house is big and immaculate, the bathrooms are stunning and the photos do not do it justice . "A fantastic house, in a quiet location and yet not far from shopping, restaurants and excursion destinations. The house is well equipped and perfectly clean. James and Rosemary are perfect hosts, always available, attentive but not intrusive. There was even an offer of interim cleaning, fresh bed linen and towels.We will definitely come back next time we visit Cornwall."
