"Fantastic! Home has everything you need for your stay, and more. Fireplace and hot tub are a great a bonus! Communication with the owners was always available and check in/check out was very easy. Highly recommend!"

"Our family gathered for our holiday get together. We all stayed at the Red Barn last year and we returned for another holiday weekend gathering. The accommodations were perfect for our group, plenty of rooms with beds"

"The layout of this house is PERFECT for a large group, especially of varying ages, with bedrooms on one side and common areas on the other. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare large group meals. And the living room was so cozy and welcoming for our winter weekend getaway. The lake access was perfect for ice fishing and I’d imagine even better for summer swimming fun. "

"Great stay for annual ice fishing trip. Had some water issues with the cold and heat turned off when we arrived, however the owner was very responsive and had everything fixed quickly and made it right. Great stay, trip and property. "

"Friends gathered and all 4 of us enjoyed our time at this rental for a weekend. Clean, spacious, comfortable. There was only one slight down side, all conversation and the one movie we watched that weekend were disrupted by the sound of the furnace running. Had it not been cold outside, perhaps we wouldn't have noticed. We adapted and smiled whenever the heat would turn on. All else was a pleasure. "

"My family and some extended family stayed here for a week to go snowboarding, the mountain was only 15 minutes away and the lake is beautiful to stay on in the winter. The host was great, allowed us to enjoy or stay without bothering us too much but ensured we knew they were available if anything was needed. House was clean and plenty of room and amenities. "Overall — the property had everything we needed. The fishing off the dock was GREAT, as one of us even caught a very large muskee right off of it! I do feel that the place looks a bit worse for wear, or hastily constructed, in a few areas (vinyl peeling off the ceiling of the outside porch, etc.,) but this didn’t affect the overall quality of our stay. My only suggestion would be a larger dining room table. Oh — and the host was SUPER responsive and SUPER helpful. 10/10 on that front!"

Standouts for this property that might not be apparent in the listing include: VERY clear lake with nice sandy bottom and few weeds (even in August), swimming excellent and water pretty warm. Hot tub great, right outside main living area and easy for my 82-year-old parents to get in and enjoy the view and company. Property manager very responsive in resolving an issue we had. "We have family in Mt Morris, we visit about 4 times a year. We usually stay in Wautoma, but both motels there are run down and very dirty. We rented 8 rooms for 16 family members for New Years Eve, and were extremely happy with the accommodations.
