"The inside of this property is completely renovated and decorated nicely...the location is very quiet, not many shops or restaurants nearby. Our kids love the bunkbeds and games provided. The distance to the beach quite far away from the beach access. Probably 15-20 mins walking through bushes and grasses. No AC but it was nice and cool outside so we just opened the windows. We saw fire pit with woods provided and pickleball field and small playground for the kids. Overall a nice place to stay....

"My wife and our two boys and our dog had a wonderful stay Nicole was very quick to respond to any questions we had and it was a beautiful stay with the ocean in just a short walk and the house had everything we needed even for our dog! I would definitely Recommend staying!"

"I don't normally write reviews, but this house (and hosts) deserve all 5 stars! The house was perfect for our weekend fishing trip and was more than enough space for the four of us. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed and more. The hosts were very communicative, too. Overall, this was fantastic!"

"Direct quote from the surly, feral teen, “This place took away all my problems; I don’t want to leave.” They didn’t even complain about lack of wifi, but if someone was trying to use it for say a writer’s weekend, or needing to bring work on their stay, that might be the only thing to complain about. "The property is located in the southern part of Ocean Shores and is very close to the Oyhut Village which provides easy access to a small market, restaurant and wine bar. We enjoyed the back deck overlooking the canal and the spacious living area. The kitchen was very well equipped with modern appliances. Pots/pans and other cooking items were a bit low quality. "The house was AMAZING. The downstairs looked like it had been professionally interior decorated. The host was our neighbor and came to greet when we arrived. The location was perfect for us. And had lots of things included for their guests, comfortable beds, lots of books, games and lots stuff for us to use. The only problem was our truck was too big for the garage and the parking space was filled by our truck so not anybody’s fault but our own"

"Our stay was very pleasant. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was also just a short drive from our kids house. The beds were cozy, the only recommendation we have is a headboard for the master bedroom because your hands and pillows hit the blinds a lot while sleeping. Also, a little attention to the table chairs and stools, missing bolts and wobbly. Thank you for the peaceful retreat. Worth the price! "

"We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend."
