"We had an amazing sunny week in Gardenstown. Sunnyside House has a fabulous view over the village and out to sea. The sunsets are stunning! The house itself is clean, well decorated and and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The locals I met on my daily morning stroll around the village and along the beach were lovely and friendly. We loved Portsoy and Cullen and had some lovely beach and cliff top walks."

"Been here now for 6 years over Christmas and new year. We love the peace and quiet and access to lovely walks with the dog. The house is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and is equipped with everything you need. Although remote, Ellon is only 10 mins drive and Aberdeen just 30 mins so perfect if you want to get out. Highly recommended"

"We had such a wonderful stay! The house is so beautiful and cozy we immediately felt so at home, and the property was stunning, with beautiful fields and sheep and an incredible view all the way to the sea from the hot tub. "Friendly welcome and Dougie the owner couldn’t be more helpful. We arrived wet and frozen on bicycles cycling NE 250 and didn’t expect much but whole place is amazing. Accommodation is clean and has everything one needs for comfortable stay. Big bonus is games room. One of THE BEST places we have stayed."

"Our GPS in the rental car wasnt working properly, so finding the cottage was a bit tricky to find, but once we did, oh my! What a great little place! Right on the water, with spectacular views- sunrise on the North Sea. The owner was easy to reach by phone and email. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed."

"The waterside is great, it is very dated but the price reflects that. There’s nothing else around this part of Scotland that gives you this level of value for money. I wouldn’t go there expecting the world but it’s clean, has a nice restreraunt, a so with sauna, jacuzzi, pool and steam room and the staff are very attentive. I love the place and will be going back next weekend."
