"Nice place"

"Our stay was comfortable, with a good distance of walking to Lobster fest. Our room was pretty clean, provided all the amenities mentioned, and even soap and towels. There were some leftover, used things of soap that were still in the shower area from visitors past. It was hard to find our place at first, and even as I was sitting in my hammock one of the days, some visitors had to ask me to help them find their building. But overall, once we got settled it was a great spot to stay at."

"Went here during july and we enjoyed our visit here. Few steps to the beach, kyaks available, sperated property so you dont have to worry about people above or below you. Peaceful area as its away from the main road Right in the heart of Placencia so your not too far of a walk from any particular place Host was quick with responding and offered help whenever ypu needed it The neighbors whom are locals are also around and available to help. One thing about the property is tgat there is no AC....

"This is a very cool little cluster of cabanas and a bar/restaurant on a legit TINY island. The staff is great, the food is decent, and the snorkeling could be better, but overall it was a fun stay. We were the only ones staying on the island, which was pretty cool."

"I have already submitted a review. Placencia is a beautiful unspoiled gem. The beaches are spectacular. Carol's Cabanas - Tarpon is located on the main st and very noisy into the wee hours. As it was very inexpensive my expectations were not high BUT it was clean, had 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette ( no oven) a screened porch and suitable bathroom facilities. "No Air Conditioning, no television, no hot water, stove didn’t work, and refrigerator stopped working. I booked 22 nights and left after 2 nights. Save your money."

"Truly a slice of paradise. The staff are incredible, the food is amazing, the amenities are plentiful. We had the most amazing stay with our 5 and 7 year olds. Never a dull moment. And, even in the rain, we made fantastic memories. king Leary’s does not disappoint. "

The cabana was hard to find and not marked (to know which one was ours), and the combination we were given was wrong. The wifi information we were given was also wrong, and the wifi network we were given access to barely worked. It looks like there is a dedicated router at the location, but it was disconnected.
