The bungalow sits between Durham's Morehead Hills historic neighborhood - adjacent to the lovely Historic Forest Hills neighborhood. Its shady, tree-lined streets feel quiet and removed, yet the best of downtown is just minutes away - Duke, NC Central University, DPAC, the Durham Bulls Park, American Tobacco, Duke Gardens, Durham Central Park/Farmers Market, Duke Lemur Center, Nasher Museum of Art, and so much more. Countless local restaurants, shopping and entertainment are all within a short drive (3 to 10 minutes), quick bike ride (5 - 10 minutes) or long stroll (15 to 25 minutes).
The American Tobacco Trail (a 23-mile stretch of retired railroad converted to a running and walking trail) runs along the eastern side of Forest Hills.
Both Forest Hills Park and Lyon Park are a short walk away - each featuring playgrounds, basketball courts, picnic facilities, and lots of open space to run and play.
Come see why so many Bull City natives and Triangle visitors love this one-of-a-kind neighborhood.
