"The hotel is very outdated and the room was really small (not a big problem). The wifi in the room didn’t work at all and the one around the hotel didn’t have the best signal. I think it was expensive for what you get. However, the owner received us well and the hotel has a nice balcony with great view which was good to chill at night as everything in town closes really early."

"The facility was run by a family and the place felt like grandma’s country house- cozy and comfortable. It offered a great sunset view and the terrace was a great alternative on a hot day as the old road was packed with tourists and I couldn’t find seats with a good view. The furniture was decent and the room was pleasant despite the older building facade. Would recommend to anyone who is considering a night stay in Jiufen!"
