"A great experience staying at Middle Beach, the Headlands was a nice change from the Main Lodge. The 6 plex room had a small kitchenette, huge tub, separate bedroom and deck chairs outside to take in the view. A great storm watching place and extra special when the sun appears!"

"We have stayed at quite a few resorts in Tofino and Uke over the years, and this was our first time at Cox Bay Resort. It offers a great spot right on Cox Bay, which is beautiful and offers excellent surfing and boogie boarding. Staff was very friendly and did a great job! Some minor annoyances spot me from giving the full 5 stars. All the resort facilities (ping pong table, hot tub, lounge, weight room etc) require getting a key from the front desk, and so we didnt use any of them other...

"What a wonderful experience! We came over in the middle of a storm, in the dark, sopping wet after driving 7 hours so we were very happy to cuddle up under a blanket when we arrived! We were upgraded to a larger float home and got to watch every type of weather happen right outside our front door! So happy to have been able to bring our dogs. "

"We booked two float homes for a group of 7 people: 1 grandma, two parents, 21yo daughter and fiancé, and 17 and 13 year olds plus two dogs. Adults in the yellow house, kids in the green. What a great time we had, just us, the ocean, the other float home guests who were friendly, and the birds and seals. These places are rustic but so lovely. "Pretty much exactly as advertised. We had two adults and two teens, and were comfortable, but are also accustomed to sharing close quarters, so wouldn’t be for everyone. For two, it’s spacious by tiny home standards. If you’re looking to eat in for all of your meals, it’s less than ideal - very little kitchen space, and not well stocked for cooking. But fine for breakfast and lunch. Nowhere to eat though other than lined up on the day bed (in rainy season anyway). Tofino has great food options...

"We booked two float homes and loved every minute. Pearl was easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. This was a rustic relaxing vacation. The float homes didn’t rock as crazy as I would have liked because Strawberry Island is on the inlet side of the ocean but they certainly rocked gently here and there. Cooking and heat are via propane but the houses have electricity and city water which tasted divine right out of the tap! The properties are dog friendly but don’t stink at all....
