"Beautiful views from every east sided room, 5 bedrooms plenty of space for our family of 10 with confortable beds. Kitchen was well appointed for all meals. Nice grocery stores nearby and an easy drive into Poulsbo and over to Bainbridge. Would definitely stay again!"

"My family of 5 adults stayed for 2 nights. Nice location with surrounding forest. Enjoyed the large space and ability to spread out, the hot tub was also great. Highly recommend!"

"The kids loved the loft and hot tub and we really enjoyed having our furry friend with us. It was super clean and did not present like a property that regularly accepts dogs. The fenced yard was great. Like others have said, the house design feels spacious despite the small sq footage. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"I’ve stayed in many short term rental properties and this was, hands down, one of the very best. The words “cute” and “cozy” best capture the essence, but the Captain’s Quarters is so much more. It’s small, but perfect for up to a couple (comfy queen bed) plus, perhaps, one sleeping on the couch. The host is amazingly kind and responsive to communications. "This apartment was a joy to stay at; yes, the furnishings were new and all was very neat and attractive, but better yet was that the kitchen had all necessary items (like measuring cups!), closets had hangers, bedrooms were large enough to move around in. We could just move in and start enjoying our stay. We would definitely stay here again. "

The bed in the "master" was surprisingly comfortable which was a pleasant surprise as I have a hard time sleeping anywhere that's not my own bed. It's also ergonomic which was super cool. "The view from the deck is great, and the house itself is decent and can easily accommodate 10 adults. Everything looks good on the surface, but once you start living in the house you soon discover a general level of disrepair. It’s fine for a couple days, but it would wear on you if it were an extended stay. "

"Easy and friendly check-in, cute gnome decor and yummy welcome cookies. Comfortable room. The usual neighbor noise you get even at expensive hotels/motels. Upstairs rooms are probably quietest (our building had two stories, some had one story). Best hotel/motel beds we’ve slept in for decades, because we like the mattress very firm and flat! Good bagels with cream cheese with juice and standard hotel coffee for breakfast. "
