The best villa in Manuel Antonio for multi-family groups, retreats and weddings - this enormous 11,000 sq ft luxury property has the best ocean views in town! Located on a private road (nighttime security) our guests are assured privacy, indulgence and a true slice of paradise from which to relax and unwind.

OCEAN VIEWS GALORE
At Casa Española, there are only glass walls and doors facing the jungle and ocean so there are jaw-dropping views from every angle.

With a total of 13 king beds (complete with hypoallergenic mattresses and pillows) spread across four floors, the villa comfortably sleeps 24. And up to 30 can stay if using our additional luxury air mattresses. In other words, don't worry about last minute RSVPs from your fellow guests—we've got you covered!

DECISIONS, DECISIONS
With our ultra-comfy beds, we don't blame you for sleeping in. But if you do wake with the sun, here are just a few of the dozens of things you can do:
• Perfect your downward dog pose during morning yoga on the penthouse pool deck
• Ask our in-house chef to prepare a traditional Costa Rican breakfast (additional fees may apply)
• Float on a raft with cocktail in the swimming pool
• Spend the whole day moving between the seven jungle- and ocean-view terraces, counting how many white-faced monkeys, sloths and howler monkeys you can spot swingin’ in the trees around the property
• Host a sunset salsa-dancing class for 30 on the penthouse terrace (your dedicated concierge will handle the details)
• Take your pups for a walk down to the beach (Rex is welcome at Casa E!).

OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
When you want to head out and explore Manuel Antonio and our surrounding area, you’ve got a ton of options. Flip open our “Things to Do” booklet, filled with our personally tested tips for the best activities in and around Manuel Antonio, including:

16 people had the BEST time!
This property is such a dream! I can’t rave enough about the communications, setting up everything we needed and more on our trip. Debby was wonderful with all our transportation set up, groceries & everything we might have wanted. Chef Luis & Hilary delighted us each morning and night with their culinary MAGIC! The food was so fresh & so FANTASTIC! They even prepared the fresh fish caught by a fishing excursion that day. The house is huge! Almost so large that our group of 16 had trouble finding each other at times! The most unexpected and wonderful part of the house? The animals you might see each day, Monkeys, Sloths, Toucans, Scarlet Macaws and more were spotted everyday. It was truly a dream vacation and such a wonderful way to spend multiple birthday celebrations! It is Pura Vida!

We had family and friends aged 16-75. Everyone loved the house! We especially loved Debby our concierge and Luis, our chef! The housekeepers did an exceptional job and did our laundry and cleaned thoroughly everyday! It was one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had! Debby was available day and night to help arrange our daily activities and transportation. If we needed something from the store, she would get it. I recommend having her help out as prices are cheaper that way. We got married on the penthouse floor and the view was just gorgeous! We used photonics 360 for photography, Priscilla Solano for hair and makeup, Chef Luis for the meal, and JoylisEventsCR for the chairs and tables. Everything was perfect! Highly recommend this place and it was worth every penny!

Beautiful home, lots of space. Stairs to all levels except main flour. Very clean, Beautiful veiws, wild life, chef services were amazing, and anything we needed was a call away with our wonderful Concierge service Debby. Would total recommend and return for a future vacation.

A Dream Wedding Destination in Costa Rica
My stay at Casa Espanola for our wedding was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the experience was impeccable.The standout feature was undoubtedly our concierge, Debby who went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary.Debby's responsiveness was truly impressive;she addressed every request within minutes, her ability to coordinate last-minute taxis, excursions, and transportation for all our guests to and from the airport was seamless,alleviating any stress we might have had.The highlight of our pre-wedding festivities was the cocktail party on the penthouse deck.The attention to detail was extraordinary, tables and chairs were arranged to match the colors of our wedding, and a beautiful swan made of towels adorned our bed, creating a fairytale-like atmosphere.The breathtaking view from the house, was awe-inspiring.Waking up to monkeys on the deck added an enchanting touch,making it feel like we were living in a dream.The accommodations were beyond spacious, providing each guest with their own comfortable space. It truly felt like a piece of heaven on earth. The option to have a chef prepare breakfast every morning was a delightful touch, and the food was nothing short of amazing.One convenient aspect worth mentioning is the acceptance of American currency everywhere,eliminating the need to convert money. Additionally,the proximity of numerous restaurants and shops within a mile from the villa.It was a dream vacation!

Vacation of a lifetime!
Genuinely the best vacation I have ever had. The house was AMAZING -- truly more beautiful than the pictures. Luxury building, very clean and well-maintained. Chefs Luis and Fabian were phenomenal -- your stay at Casa Espanola wouldn't be complete without the private chef experience. I had a group of 28 20-somethings in this house, and it did not feel crowded. The beds were extremely comfortable, bathrooms were clean and very high-end, the views were STUNNING. Debby the concierge was very responsive and helped solve any logistics issues that arose from arranging taxis to the beach to booking jet ski excursions and more! We spent the last few days of our trip dreaming about coming back every year forever :) The neighborhood is very quiet and safe (gated community), easy walk to stores and restaurants, and also an easy walk to the beach or the bus. I can't recommend Casa Espanola highly enough!

Most amazing stay!
I cannot recommend this house strongly enough. We came to Quepos for a week as a family group (19 people, aged 3 to 75) and had an absolutely wonderful time. Amy helped coordinate all the activities for our trip before it even began and was so incredibly helpful even as plans changed frequently. The house concierge Debby was always available to answer any questions we had during our stay. Luis and Fabian cooked us amazing meals - I HIGHLY recommend hiring them to cater for your groups. There food was delicious and it was easier, cheaper, and better than trying to go out to eat or cook ourselves. There were daily maids who kept the house clean and maintenance staff available if there were ever any concerns. The house and views are awesome and the pool is perfect. All the rooms are large and there were plenty of beds and space for everyone. I truly had such an amazing trip and everyone in our group raved about the house and services offered. One unique thing -this house is set up almost like three different large apartments with separate entrances and a shared common area. It is a bit hard to explain, and it worked well for us despite the fact that we had small kids in our group, but is just an FYI if it matters to you. We were visited by monkeys and saw a sloth, parrots, toucans, etc. all from the decks. It really was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! You will not be disappointed.

Fun Property
We definitely enjoyed our stay here. We had a very large group and this property is in a great location for this area. lots of food options and central to the park and town. The view is amazing. Nothing much bad. Would have liked a fridge downstairs. We stayed on the pool deck and there was a lot of traffic from other people using the kitchen and socializing. Seems like they were missing this or that on their levels and needed to borrow whatever dish or item that was in the main kitchen. The monkeys in the morning were always fun to watch. Make sure to secure all the doors or they will come in and take your food. Made some great memories in this area hope to come back someday.

Property as was beautiful and as pictures indicated the views were magnificent. I cannot say enough about the staff. (Concierge, housekeeping, maintenance and the Chef (Louis and Debra). We truly enjoyed our stay and felt so welcomed by everyone we came in contact with. We felt at home and the meals prepared were beyond tasteful and filling. Do yourself a favor and get the package for meals it was well worth it. Can’t wait to do this again! My family of 19 will be forever grateful for this experience. And thanks again Amy for all the feedback on questions we had during the booking process.

Fabulous spring break week
We had 3 families in the house. The location is great - in the jungle with an ocean view. The house is very spacious and laid out well- room for us all to gather as well as space for privacy. Our rides from the airport were arranged for us as well as our excursions. And anything we needed during the week, the concierge helped with. We had Chef Luis for the week and he was awesome. It was a short walk to a small grocery store as well as several restaurants. It was a great vacation!

Large adult group plus an infant! We had an incredible stay at Casa española! The staff was extremely accommodating and very quick to respond with any needs we had! The photos do not do the view justice! Chef Luis was amazing! Highly recommend adding the all inclusive package, everything he cooked was delicious! We had a couple resident sloths and monkeys who hung out in the trees right off the porch! So fun! Only complaint is that the pool was really cold, so unfortunately we were really ever able to get in. Overall, highly recommend! Juan made our stay very comfortable. We will definitely be back :)

One of our best vacations!
19 of us stayed at this amazing villa! Perfect space for all. Chef Luis and Jose made exceptional breakfasts and dinners (we had them choose the menu each day, which added anticipation to their well thought out and cooked meals!). Our concierge Juan helped plan exceptional and seamless excursions, from night jungle tours, fishing charters, to a catamaran for our whole group. Amy, the owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was amazing, plenty of space for all of us to hang out and enjoy eachothers company. Exceptional views of the pacific ocean, and right next door to Manuel Antonio NP! Awoke to howler monkeys in the trees, macaws, toucans, monkeys on the deck! Short drive to the beach, where sloths roamed the trees! Quepos was a short drive, wonderful town, everyone friendly and inviting. Highly recommend this property for your next family reunion or friends gathering! Can't say enough good things.

Perfect Family Getaway
I cannot say enough about our recent trip to Costa Rica and stay at this property. The property was gorgeous and the pictures truly do not do it justice. We were staying with a large group including 7 kids under 5. The villa took great care to accommodate our group, going so far as to install temporary netting to make sure the kids were safe on all of the balconies and providing beach toys. There was even a kiddy pool which was an amazing addition for the non-swimmers in the group. Monkeys and macaws that were easily spotted from the balconies and sometimes even came to visit, but the wild life highlight was the sloth that seems to live in the tree right next to the house. The Chef Luis was amazing and waking up to his breakfasts was a highlight of our stay. Dinners were equally delicious so I highly recommend hiring him if you are staying in the villa. The cleaning staff and property manager were also great. All in all one of the best vacations of my life!

AMAZING Family Retreat
Our family of 14 stayed at this property for 8 nights and had an amazing vacation. I actually don’t think the photos do it justice. The view could not be more spectacular and the setup worked great for our group. We had dinner service for our first night and it was amazing. Try it and you won’t regret it. The host, Amy, couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. Would love to come back!

Nothing short of amazing!!!
There is not enough that can be said about this Villa! Spectacular views, space for a large family (ages 88 to 21) that used all 8 bedrooms, activities galore and the host was the best ever! They helped with arranging activities, transportation, food shopping, chef services, etc. They were in regular communication with us from the moment we booked (almost a year ahead of the trip) to the morning of our last day as we boarded the shuttle back to San Jose. We cooked half the nights and while the kitchen was small for such a large house, we were able to get the most out of it. The Chefs were great and served amazing traditional CR food. Fresh fish, fruits, and the ribs were amazing. The housekeeping staff can daily (except Sunday) and kept the large villa sparkling! We were visited daily by troops of howler, red back and capuchin monkeys, had a resident sloth in the tree off the lower balcony, and had Toucans and McCaws in the trees nearby. The guides in Manuel Antonio really know their stuff and communication in English was good everywhere we went. The pool could be heated (it is not) and there is a hot tub listed as an amenity, but it is not there anymore apparently. Other than those few things, we all had a great trip and hope to return and visit more of this beautiful country in the future. You can not go wrong with this beautifyl villa! Pura Vida!

This Villa is truly spectacular with amazing views. Had a couple of visits from Titi monkeys 🙊. The chef Guillermo’s food and his assistant Erics service were great.

Once in a lifetime trip we now want to do every year!
Let me start by saying my expectations of Costa Rica were sky high. I’ve heard for years how amazing it was and how beautiful it was. I had the same high expectations for Villa Española after seeing the property online and reading reviews. Well, Costa Rica and Villa Española both vastly surpassed my high expectations. What a tremendous trip. The house is beautiful. The views are better than what the pictures show; just absolutely breathtaking. The house accommodated my group of 17 very well. The best part of the house was sitting on the deck and experiencing the wildlife up close and personal. Our group got to wake up to a sloth in the Cecropia tree right next to the house each morning. We had a wonderful surprise too, it was a pregnant mama who had her baby while we were there, so we got to watch a mama and baby sloth each day of our trip! We also saw monkeys, frogs, and many birds including Macaws, green parrots, and owls. All of these beautiful creatures with a backdrop of the blue water of the Pacific Ocean!! The property manager, Amy, was so helpful and understanding. I planned this trip with a group of 17 and Amy was always available to answer all of our questions. She made the planning part easy! We opted to hire a chef for dinners and breakfast. Amy set us up with Chef Luis, and we were so glad she did!!! Chef Luis and his helper Mari were spectacular. We were so impressed with every meal and they were so great to interact with and share laughs with. I highly recommend him and his services, it was 5 stars and first class all the way. The housekeepers were also great. The house was always perfectly clean and ready for our group each day when we returned from our adventures. The concierge, Nuria, was very patient and helpful. With such a large group we often split up and did different activities. Nuria coordinated these things with ease, she is absolutely an expert and well connected with the area. She set us up with a guide and driver to do a customized trip to see some beaches, waterfalls, and local experiences south of Manuel Antonio. She organized the whole thing and it was the highlight of our trip. I recommend this property and team with out any hesitations. You will not regret it! Pura Vida!!

Perfect Costa Rican Stay!
The villa was beautiful with incredible views. Amy was absolutely incredible. She responded quickly to questions and solved problems. Her recommendation of Chef Luis worked out brilliantly. The house staff were friendly and efficient. We could not have asked for a better experience. From delicious meals to a fantastic salsa class on the upper deck, we enjoyed every minute and plan to come back.

Exceptional location, accommodations and amenities
Our group of 16 just returned from a 5-night stay at this property. The location in Manuel Antonio could not be better (hello, that view!), the amenities that come with the house were exceptional (daily housekeeping and included laundry service, grocery and wine delivery, optional chef plans, coordination of transportation, etc.). We opted for the all-inclusive meal plan which included 2 meals, of our choice, per day. Luis and his assistant, Christina, were amazing! The food was DELICIOUS and it was so nice not having to worry about coordinating meals or doing dishes for such a large group. I highly recommend using the chef for at least one meal, if not the all inclusive plan while you are there. In addition, our concierge services from pre-planning until departure were fantastic and truly made this a memorable, fun and relaxing vacation for all. Lastly, the house was exactly as pictured and the view is even more beautiful!! The ocean views and daily visits from wildlife only added to our trip. I highly recommend this property!

Women wellness retreat
The Villa located on a quiet street surrounded by other residential villas nestled high in jungle overlooking the gorgeous ocean, decorated tastefully with huge rooms and beautiful terraces. We were a group of 12 women but the Villa can accommodate more than 30 people. We opted the all inclusive package that came with the services of chef Luís who prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners for us. We had yoga on the top terrace overlooking the sun setting into the Aqua ocean. Can’t ask for anything better. Amy and Allison helped us check in. Allison helped with all the tours and antigen testing. She was quick to respond and available to help us. Would love to go back every year.

Perfect vacation. The house was perfect for our family. We had 6 groups in our extended family and the house gave us the luxury of being together while having privacy when needed. The chefs were amazing along with the concierge helped with activities in and around Manuel Antonio. Grandkids loved the monkeys, and sloths that where a in the trees next to the house Definitely will return in the future
